Well I know this probably wont become an real team. But it's worth a try....I think maybe when a thread needs to become closed because it will soon or later get out of hand. The help team should have the power to close them.I know that mods are not really usually online because there busy we can help honest.I think this really should become a team.If this isn't successful after a while then it may be closed. But can someone please say yea this can go on until it really helps the forum.Reply when read!!:)

You can only close threads if your a mod, and if someone got the power to close threads that was a spammer bad stuff could happen. I know what you mean though. There are some threads that I would defenently close.

The reason I choose the moderators I do is because I don't WANT a ton of threads being closed. Just because a thread is minorly spammy doesn't mean that it should be closed. I would rather the community deal with these threads by simply not posting in them, the thread will die eventually. Creating a team specifically for closing threads would make it more likely that threads I wouldn't want being closed would get closed.

In short, the moderators do about as much closing as I want, sometimes even more. Adding in a new team of special "closers" will increase the risk that closing threads will become more commonplace than what I want.

If you have any more team suggestions in the future, please keep posting them.

I'm just saying that some threads I have seen don't even have a topic.

Are they in one of the Unmoderated areas? (Personal forum, web families, RPG?) If not, point out your complaints to a local moderator and let 'em know of these threads.

I Made this suggestion to Kain also but it's very hard for him to make people mod certain areas and this can be closed now i think.

ive been reading some threads and some are way off topic
not all of them need to be closed though i do think there should be a few more people that should be able to close or delete threads because i do notice that none of the mods are on sometimes leavng spammers to do as they please(posting porn, swaring and just posting random stuff).

Yea! Most of the time when we close those threads it is due to something serious like a big fight between members. Other then that we don't pay that much attention to them people.

I usually don't look at them unless someone PM's me about something bad going down in those sections. So far I am glad I have not gotten any bad PM's about those sections.

Yea! 1,000th post! Calls for a celebration. J/K!

ive seen some swaring in the web families.

You should report that to a moderator. We tend to let a lot of stuff go in Web Families, as I said it's a virtually unmoderated area. However, if it is offensive, we will go correct it.
