Summons

I want the summons to not suck this time. I beat Kingdom Hearts 2 and only used Stitch once (though I've since been levelling-up the summons. All four of them >_>). What happened there? At least the KH1 summons were actually USEFUL. KH3 should follow suit; and no more Chicken Little!

My ideas:

Bambi

Charm*: Prince

In his adult form, Bambi will appear, followed by a forest of trees. He will keep enemies at bay while you mingle about the tree, healing yourself. However, enemies can attack him, so watch out.

Clopin

Charm: Jester (or obtained through event)

Obtained after resolving the spat he and Sora have in the Court of Miracles. After summoning the gypsy king, he'll run around like a madman with those flaming baton things. Any enemy he destroys will leave behind twice the rewards they would normally!

The Seven Dwarfs

Charm: Miner's

Using this gem will randommly summon one of the seven dwarfs, each who have their own abilities. Sneezy will sneeze away the competition; Grumpy will attack relentlessly with powerful attacks (but his usage time is shorter); Dopey will confuse your enemies; Sleepy makes enemies move slower; Doc raises your attack and defense as long as he's in the field; Bashful raises your magic; and Happy runs about collecting fallen items.

**Charm refers to whatever the means of summoning is in the game. It was Charm in KH2, Gem in KH1, maybe it'll be something different now, who knows?

i never used a summon... i thought they were a waste of time and i had a better chance at winning fights without them

Exactly you don't need to use summons in KH2 nor magic you can just use the forms and thats it.

you really don't even need the forms.. i beat kh2 all the way through without using a single form.. then the next time i played it leveled all the way up, and maxed out all of my drive forms.

I'm just saying if they were made useful, who would there be? We're not talking debating their current use, but what you'd like them to be.

(As far as magic goes they should have some icy enemies that need to be Fire'd to be destroyed, and stuff like that)

I really hated the KH2 summons, though. Really. Except Genie, I like using him now.

would you rather bahumud or alexander i mean if the do that then itll be more ff material so i say that if anything they should start from scracth and make summons that pertain to kingodm hearts ..............

I think there should be Final Fantasy AND Disney summons (ooh, and what if some of the Org. members come back and are good or something and you get them too? XD). I just happened to have played one FF game in my life so I really don't know squat about it other than the stuff I've been told, or stuff I've gathered from around me.

The organization 13 mem couldn't be a summon the're evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And besides only people that are heroes could be summons and are good.

Long obnoxious strings of exclamation marks do not emphasize your point very well.

I was spouting off one of my out-there theories that you could summon -some- of them. Like Axel, and I got the impression that Demyx wasn't a bad guy but just got mixed in with the wrong crowd XD I was saying -if- some of them came back.

other than that ive almost never used summons except to get points in the collusium (stitch, pm me for a great strategy) and to level them up to get the secret ending on Normal.

Hey why not king mickey, riku or even kairi. Kairi could shield and heal you, riku could fight alongside you, and king mickey would barrage the compotion. Now Namine or Roxas isnt a bad deal, They could be your last resort like king mickey in kh2. Now the deal with the organization members yeah some are evil but axel would be exceptable!! even cloud or sephiroth would be awsome to use!!

I think maybe Cloud and Tifa, or Axel. Also maybe Jack Sparrow or Jack Skellington. Squall, Zell, and Rinoa would be cool.

Also i think these could be the name of some possible summon charms:

Woody or Buzzlight Year(Toy Story)- Cowboy Charm(Woody) or Space Charm(Buzz Lightyear)

Tifa(FF7)- Fist Charm or Glove Charm

Squall(Leon)- Gun Blade Charm or Hart Charm (not Heart, HART)

Vincent Valentine(FF7)- Gun Charm or Claw Charm

Roxas- Twilight Charm

Auron- Soul Charm

Pain, Rikku, and Yuna(FFX-2)- Gullwing Charm

Simba(the Lion King)- Fang Charm

Hercules- Knuckle Charm

Mickey- King Charm

Donald- Magician Charm

Goofy- Court Charm

Merlin- Sorcerorr Charm

Sora- Key Charm

I wanted to ask this scence i read this thread. where are the summons in KH 1 and 2. I have never seen a summons in the game.

Well, you aquire at least ONE in both games, whether you want to or not.

KH1: Simba, Mushu, Dumbo, Bambi, Tinkerbell, Genie
KH2: Stitch, Genie, Peter Pan, Chicken Little

I like the idea of Roxas as a summon, actually.

the summons in kh1 were actually useful. you really didnt need to use them much, cuz the game was so easy, but they actually had their uses. the kh2 summons are worthless in my opinion. why would you want to summon when you could use a drive form?

what they need to do is make a original kingdom heart summoning just a thought. Not like I don't the disney summoning I really use Genie and sticth that it for me.
