What do the members think about the idea of having a kH movie or an anime?

if they do make a kingdom hearts movie, it will be like advent children... the CGI and all that mess.. i doubt they'll make either, honestly... right now nomura is working on a project and then he's going over to kh3... so i doubt he'll have time for something else

an anime? As in drawings? An ongoing series or a film? Either way an anime would never do good. it would have to be a cgi film. And I think it is possible; nomura said they would be working on multiple projects, how many games can they make? what else would they do? books?

well i don't think nomura has time to be honest... he's working on a title right now he said and then kh3 will be in production later this year... he's got ffxiii coming out in december, ffvsxiii coming out next year and then ff agito in the year following that.. i'd say he's quite overwhelmed.. i'm assuming he'll be working with all those projects. he normally does take a great deal of responsibility

Actually the three FFs are coming out at exactly the same time. At least I know for a fact the FFXIII and Vs XIII will be exactly the same time, and Agito, heck, the may finish that first. How complex can a game be on a cell-phone? lol so if they are working on three titles at the same time right now, I am sure they could find time to work on two games or a game and a movie at the same time in a year or so.

I personally hve not yet voted but i say this, a cgi movie of KH would do well only thing is there would be more than one. If it were an anime it would be a series more easier to follow + all great anime's started as mangas.

I voted anime but I meant to vote movie..:o There should be ONE really great, fantastic movie. I don't think I would follow a complete series. But y'know what Disney's like...they love making sequels. Even if they're rubbish. And speaking of that ride....I'm surprised one hasn't been made already, it's gotten so popular! But I wouldn't travel all the way to Paris just to go on it...

But the other year I went to visit my cousin in the states and the telly was just full of it. Her little boy loves something called Inyasha...sorry, can't spell it. And I was made to watch it with him. It was a horrible day but alot of kids over there seem to like it. But I seem to be going SLIGHTLY off-topic so I will say... KINGDOM HEARTS MOVIE. :)

well, i voted movie but if if was a movie, then i'd want it to be not in 3d, but a real live action movie. Cgi in those nowdays is good enough for them to at least attempt it. heack they should even split it up into two parts just to get the story.

It would be better if they used good, young actors that would fit the part. For ppl like donald, goofy and all them, just animate them. Sometimes in battle if necessary then they could animate certain moves.

I think that a TV series should be made entirely in CGI. Like Tripping the Rift or some show like that. That, to me, would be better than an anime by far.

Anime. It just mostly wouldn't look right with real people, as live actions based on cartoons and games tend to use people... who look nothing like the original characters. sometimes with badly dyed hair. As KH is already in an anime format, albeit 3-d, I think iot would be best to keep it that way, whether as an OVA or a movie version of the games (or even a miniseries).

Definatly a cgi movie because or anime would be the better option because casting actors to play the characters would kind of ruin the image, no matter how hard they try they wont be able to present the characters as we see them.

New information regarding this. The creator of the Kingdom Hearts Manga has heard nothing about there being a Kingdom Hearts Animé going to be created:

The Light in Chaos blog found KH's official mangaka. Shiro Amano, responding to a fan mail that he received.

He puts down:

"There is a rumor of a KH anime? Through googling, there is word that there is a 2-D animation coming out, but I don't know if that's true or not."

Really, let's just say that Shiro is as clueless as the fans are, okay?

ok even though i voted for anime i think both can happen equally. The movie could happen becuase they already made one movie FFVII: Advent Children. An anime could also be possible even though the creator of the manga know nothing about it. Only reason why I think it could be an anime is that all animes start out from manga.
