Okay, judging from that secret video at the end of the kh2, i really think that the hazy figure in the horizon is the guy from kh1, the man who warned sora that the door had been unlocked. Some tried to say it was ansem, but why would ansem warn sora? i just thought that guy was way too mysterious for him not to have any other story.. unless he was who we fought at the end of kh1, i think there's a good chance the mysterious figure is from kh1..i'll have more later
cool cool and its a good theory to. maybe it was like a prerecorded message sort of speak or like someone gone back in time to warn him. Its a little sketchy but it could work.

ansem may have been using the coat to hide his shame when he warned sora, but he was still too proud at that point to admit he was wrong. it could have been something done in the future sent to the past, but i dont like that theory.
yeah, i think it would be the same mysterious figure. possibly axel (this is assuming that he is not riku's nobody).

yeah, possibly merlin in his spare time, which would kinda suit it, but make a crappy ending. maybe it was one of the earlier keyblade bearers who had failed and the worlds had been destroyed(in another place)

well, i'm pretty confident when i say it's not merlin.. however, the idea that ansem was so ashamed by what he had done that he hid his appearance from sora is a really good theory..
yea i can see that one working. but the question is, how did he get to destiny island?

ansem you know what that could be right but the dude was too kreepy and if it was ansem why didnt he jus come as dizz as he did on KH2 and chain of memories ...............i mean that hid his face well enoguh..........

didnt the king explain in kh2 that Xehanort's heartless was going around saying that he ansem. Well in kh1 maybe that guy was Xehanorts heartless the phony saying he was ansem.:) just a thought

The guy who warned Sora that the door has been unlocked was Ansem. If you payed attention to when Riku took Kairi back from Captain Hooks ship to the Castle Chapel in Hollow Bastion with darkness, Riku and Maleficent start arguing and the guy who warned Sora shows up and takes off the cloak - you don't see him - but then the mysterious figure turns to Riku and tells him he can give him the ultimate power of darkness, but only if he's not afraid. That's when Riku is all possessed with the power that Ansem gives him. So, it's definantly Ansem at the beginning of the game warning Sora. Also, his voice is the same and he says some of the same lines at the end of the game when you see him at your island. So, yeah.
He lost the disguise after they all met up in the world that never was. so maybe its from a time after then like a distant future or if he survived the explosion and maybe was brought somewhere else. he did say the heart was unpredictable so maybe kingdom hearts saved him or warped him somewhere else before it would have killed him.

sorry, wasnt thinking there, ignore that last thing.
no no thats a good idea, like what if he was suppose to fail. like maybe something would have happened to everyone regardless and might have had a different out come. think about it, what would have happened without sora. like what if riku was supposed to be in the darkness and be the host for some sort of new level of darkness or something. even if thats not true, thing could still have ment to take a different twist somewhwere in there.

Ok, that door in the secret place, i think it is not just the door to the world, because there isn't a door to the world for every world, idc what anything says i think that door is something else, because it has "look at me, i mean something" all over it, and the way Riku looked at it when they were young, and the way Sora looked at it when Ansem was talking to him in the yellow cloak just made that door more peculiar to me. I dont think Ansem initially meant to meet Sora in that Secret Place, i think Ansem came to look and check out that door, and Sora just so happned to be looking for mushrooms and they met, what else could Ansem do but confront Sora, he never said he knew him, he just told him, it's not like he knew this would soon be the keyblade master he probably thought it was some random islander boy, like Squall said "Why a kid like you."

well there is a door to every world otherwise the heartless couldnt have made destiny islands dissapear. also its not ansem the wise its xehanorts heartless. at the end of the game when you defeat "ansem" he says "you have come this far and you still kno nothing. one who knows nothing can understand nothing" so ya, it was him.:D

If you think about the ansem reports when they said that the keyblade weilder could bring chaos and all. What if Xehanort's heartless(Xh here on in) was counting on him to bring chaos due to his incompetence. And Xh could have just have been toying with Sora, knowing that Riku could have been too strong willed.

i remember, like no lie, because i was going nuts about tht door, it said, the game in the game! it said the heartless come through the keyhole, and that is why sora sealed them, darkness came from the keyholes, or at least the heartless did..

Actually it was Ansem. Both Ansem and the man who warned him in the secret place on Destiny Islands were both voiced by Billy Zane. I don't think that Nomura would want to have the same voices for two different characters. So...by this...yes...the guy who warned Sora...was Ansem..but then the question arises as to why?

It's clearly Ansem. I don't think he was warning Sora. It's not like he was yelling for him to leave or something was he? If so I don't remember. I think he was just rubbing it in. Like "I'm going to turn this world into a dark pile of nothingness. Then I'm going to take your friends from you. And there's not a dern thing you can do about it".

it was ansem... his voice matched perfectly...
and in Hollow Bastion... the man that gives Riku powers is the "man in the brown" and that guy from cave was in brown...AKA ansem...

i say again, i dont think Ansem meant to meet Sora it just kind of happened, like you picked up the mushroom and then he looked at the drawing and there was the creepy guy in the yellow, its not like Ansem was like "muhaha, i'll just wait till someone comes and pick theis mushroom!" and yeah the voices match, and i dont think much from kh1 will tie to make a huge difference in kh3, maybe but, i wouldnt expect it..
