I'm pretty sure Notre Dame and Frollo will be in KH3, which would rock my socks off.

A boss fight with Frollo on top of a cathedral as the dark red sky illuminates his silver sword?

That would be enough to send me into a coma.

But I digress. Somebody on YouTube said that Sqaure-Enix doesn't touch matters of race or religion, therefore Kingdom Hearts 3 wouldn't include Notre Dame. But, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame has never really been a deep "religious" piece, and there are other parts which I would love to see manifest in the game.

I would also love to see an instrumental version of the song below as the background for the boss fights in Notre Dame, since we definitely can't have the lyrics in a KH game.

Hmmm, I have mixed feelings about the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I suppose it could work right if they didn't delve too deeply into the religious aspects like you said, and Square doesn't like to do that anyway. But if you think about it FFX had a lot of religious aspects, not our own religions persay, but religion anyway, so who knows?

ffx, best game ever made in my opinion.. the religious aspect of it was great... when it comes to ff12, i was just as happy because it was pretty political... i'd like to see square cover some real-world issues.. not just run around, hack up the enemy

Yeah, that's why they say Pocohontas wasn't in the KH games. But I think Notre Dame is better than Pocohontas, and a lot of the religious aspects in it are really irrelevant to our day (at least the ones that Square-Enix would show in the game).

For, example, the whole "gypsy" aspect doesn't really apply to anything seriously religious today and the cathedral is where the story unfolds.

Here's what can be left out (as far as religion):

.Religious images (such as the Virgin Mary or Jesus)
.Frollo's lust shouldn't be as explicit as it was in the movie (although the movie was rated G)
. Images of people worshipping or praying (it seems minor, but people harp on little things in this day and age)
.Lyrics to Hellfire (though I would like an instrumental version)

I suppose references to witchcraft would be necessary for the whole "burning at the stake" scene, but they should be used lighter than in the movie and just a reason to show Frollo's intolerance and hatred. (Also, I bet Sora would love to swing down with Quasimodo and save Esmarelda from a fiery fate)

Besides that, Kingdom Hearts 3 is probably going to be an E10+ anyway and the movie is rated G.

I didn't even realize the movie was rated G. wow, yeah that would have to be taken back a notch. but people seen worshipping or praying wouldn't be so bad, there is a cathedral in FFVII and there is a ton of fighting and stuff in it. Remember in FFVII AC there are some battles in that Cathedral, and even in the end it is represented as a place of cleansing and purity, so Square has some history in the religious field.

yeah,i don't think you can really say square is afraid to touch on religion altogether... 7 and 10 showed that.

Well, then, bring on the NOTRE DAME!!! I'm going to join a Notre Dame rally. Also, how do you add display pictures or avatars?

You know...like how you've got Marluxia and you've got Jack Skellington.

Well you can do it on your profile page, in a column on the left of the screen, and you need some kind of digital editing program to edit them if you want to.

That's why I assumed it wasn't in 2, but even then it's not really bashing religion...just the insane ones who follow it >.> There were other religious people in the movie who were nice. The movie wasn't even really focused on it, anyways.

Idea: instead of Frollo being all OMFGHAWT for Esmeralda, have him want her for some sort of evil plan thing...sort of like the Princesses of Heart, but not. It will work.

Anyways. I want to see Clopin. He rocks too hard to not be there :P

Actually, Frollo was not a religious figure, he was basically the judge and he used religious beliefs to further his own twisted agenda.

The closest religious figure was the Archdeacon and he saved Quasimodo from death...

The villain from the 1996 animated Disney movie "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame". A really good dark Disney movie with amazing animation and a great villain. (This and the Lion King really stand out)

You've never seen a Disney movie?!? Impossible. I can't believe it. You must be joking, I say. I don't care if your favorites are like the most violent bloody Quentin Tarantino or Eli Roth films out there, you HAVE to have seen a Disney movie. It's impossible not to. You need to start watching Disney. Next time you're at the video store, rent Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Tarzan, and the Emperor's New Groove. After that, watch some old ones like Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Sleeping Beauty. You need some "PMR"=Positive Movie Reinforcement.
