The most recent issue of Electronics Gaming Monthly includes a little tease about Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+, giving it a release date of Fall 2007. You can view the scan below.

Weather or not you consider EGM to be a valid source or not is completely up to you. This in no way confirms a North American Release for Final Mix, but our chances do seem to be getting higher, because this is not the first magazine to report this!

I quess that means for the US? That is awesome!! I quess they realized their mistake by not releasing the first final mix in the states...

I guess so. The release date in Japan is March 29th, and as Japan is in the Northern Hemisphere like us, their Fall is the same as ours (UK and US).

But as it says, we may not be able to trust EGM. I wouldn't know, as I've never bought their magazine.

Do we finally have confirmation that infact KHII: Final Mix+ Will be released outside Japan???

This is what the last paragraph of the article says:

"And for the Square Enix fans, look forward to Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, previously thought to be a Japan-only upgrade, to arrive here in the fall, complete with the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories 3D remake. That's one hell of an "extra.""

They seem to be very confident

There are now about 7 different sources saying that it MAY be released in the US in Fall. That's the first one I've seen that actually says it will.

If I find further confirmation, I'll make it official lol.

Alot of people tell me pojo is not a great source for information.

Anyway, I hope this is true. I will finally be able to play the game that only Japan was getting.

I think alot of us in the US will be happy about this.

Same here..but I doubt we'll get it. :( If we do, it'll be out in months and months and months and m..you get it. Now I'm hoping it gets released in the US, so I could purchase it for the NTSC PS2. But it depends on how much it's gonna cost me.

I wouldn't square themselves if they stated a fall release, I can't think of any examples at the moment but I know that there have been a few games that have ahd their release pushed back even after a confirmed date is posted. We really can't know the release until a week before it's out and then we MAY get it when it's promised. Not to be ungrateful but release dates are NEVER solid and exact until the day arrives because in between now and then anything could happen to postpone work on the project.

No it means that because his PAL PS2 can play NTSC games as well, he can get the American version. We won't be able to still.

You can get it if you fly to america and buy it.

If it was as simple as that, I'd do it myself. You need the PS2 related to that country as well. An English PS2 won't work with American PS2 games, unless it's been mod-chipped which can screw up the PS2.

Yeah, it's a total pain and I wouldn't recommend doing it. I made the silly mistake of chipping my original PS2 but then it broke. All I've done now is got myself a NTSC PS2 which so much better - and it hasn't broken yet. The games work too. Now I'm waiting on a Square-Enix statement telling me FM+ will be international.
