Kingdom Hearts 2 did a good job of darkening the theme, but it could still go darker. Sora will be nearly an adult, and needs to stop acting so childish. ( that means no singing with Ariel in mermaid gear)

That is a good idea but it's Disney so they can't make it too much more mature. But still getting rid of Atlantica will do no harm.
I expect they'll keep the worlds where you change your appearance completely to fit in the world, including Atlantica, Halloween Town, Tron and Pride Rock. (I'm not including Timeless River.) They'll probably keep the 100 Acre Wood in there too.

Do I want to get rid of making Sora look different in different worlds? No, what I wan't is for him to stop making himself look like a idiot.

But, but, but, it really wouldn't be Sora if he didn't have his childish moments. And remember guys, that this is disney we are talking about. But since I am a servant of the Dark Realm, I couldn't get enough of darkness. So it would be just rockin' if they made this one twice as dark as KH2; but just because it is darker, doesn't mean it can't have it's disney-childish moments.

But still their is no amount of duel keyblade wielding, heartless slashing, and nobody smashing that can overcome the idiocy of making Sora dance and sing in full mermaid gear. Sickening!

True I can agreed with that, but the only reason that I like that part is because it's too much fun laughing at Sora in "Swim This Way". lol Where did he get this those dance moves, hahahaha.

Still, the dancing needs to go bye, bye, this is an action game, not DDR.

legion has a serious dark streak and i liked the singing *throws up a little in my mouth* well it was a good distraction. i think that sora should be serious CAUSE WEVE KINDA GROWN WITH HIM IMAGINE SORA MARRIED TO kairi and his three kids are the keyblade warriors during the war
lol There's been talk that Sora's son would be involved in future. It never really occurred to me that it would most likely be Kairi's son too :)

Sora's becoming a teenager. he's gonna get darker, hopefully. And what abour poor Riku? just leaving him out in the cold while Sora and Kairi have a kid? meh. i can see it now, the Jerry Springer episode of Sora vs. Riku "Who's the REAL father?" rofl i would record that episode and watch it almost every week. he he -sniker-
well all sillyness aside, it's probably going to get darker. There's probably going to be more heavier themes in it, with sora getting to be that age and all.I wonder if there will be blood.......
also, if you read Game Informer (www.gameinformer.com) in the games of 2006 issue, sora got on the biggest dorks of the year list for dancing under the sea. "It dosen't matter if you kill thousands of Heartless, dual-weild keyblades, or fight alongside Auron. If you sing "Under The Sea" in full mermaid gear, you are one of the biggest dorks of the year. Period." and that's a direct quote. meh.

Call me a liar If you wish but rumours be said that the next title may have a teen rating. I visited some forums and they think that KH may go the way that LOZ is going.(Legend of Zelda) When you think about it, Industries have been cutting loose alot more now a days and children don't seem to be as innocent and fragile as they once were. I'm not saying their gonna put big f#$* scenes or gory battles but just a bit more mature than usual in the plot. maybe something sad like goofy and donald disapearing which would open up the theme that Riku and Kairi become his new companions. These hwever are just rumours I've heard so don't tear me apart just yet.

yea it will most likely get darker but not dark enough for the hard core violence and sexuality we all love and crave

Yea i agree, KH3 will be much more involved in the darker aspects of KH
KH2 certainly was compared to KH1 lol. I think the general maturity issue comes with the games getting darker.

I think that and how the main cast have gotten older. Things have to change.

The characters are getting older and more mature, and the targeted audience of videogame sales is going up aswell so darkening the theme a bit wouldn't heart, although they may still want a few goofy, lighthearted events to keep the origional feel. As for the statement earlier about me having a dark streak, I have been known to be evil, ruthless, and maniacle on ocation, particularly in video games.

well i do think the story has to mature a bit but not to the point of teen rating cause that would ruin disneys reputation of makin family films ang games for all ages.
It's already Teen Rating isn't it? Here in the UK both games are 12+

Well over in the U.S. it has a E rating which is for everyone. 10+ is the age.

lol so have I. In one game I kept smashing some enimie with countless bullets and my friends like
"Dude, it's dead"
I responded
"I dont care"
and kept on making blood spots on the floor.
anyway, One thing is that Kingdom Hearts may get darker, but how dark will Disney get? They are a company that makes CHILDRENS movies. They made it so that every little girl dreams of some sympathetic hero that will come riding on a white horse to take them away so they can meet her real parents, the Kind and Queen of a magical happy land (sounds like some ones on drugs) where everything turns out ok and the good side always wins.
This could mean if KH3 is darker, there might be less Disney! WAHOOOO!!!!
I hope so at least. But then again they could make WInne the Pooh go all "**** YOU MALIFACENT!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" and continue to decapitate Malifacent with the Oblivion Keyblade. taht would be great! great I tell you!
