Yeah....here it is.

Endless: Only the Beginning (Part One)

Drake appeared in the darkness, his sword already drawn. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was.
A dark cloaked figure struck from nowhere, using a powerful sword, so powerful that he could feel the energy radiating from it. As Drake tried to figure out how he got there, he was caught of guard, and was hit with the first blow from behind, but barely managed to block the next strike. He spun around and threw back his opponent, and then rushed toward him while he was dazed. Drake’s sword slashed through the air, but the weapon made no contact with his enemy. The cloaked figure had teleported and appeared behind Drake, smashing his back with the hilt of his sword. Drake collapsed to the floor, weakened by the blow, but he knew he couldn’t lose. He swung his sword blindly behind him, slashing the cloaked person, and then Drake spun around, and kicked his opponent hard in the stomach. His opponent sputtered slightly, then laughed.
“Very good! You’ve improved since we last met.” Drake strode up to the figure, recognizing the voice. He quickly tried to remove the hood shielding his face. As he did so, the warrior slashed his sword upward, slashing Drake’s arm. As the cloaked figure moved, Drake’s other hand removed the hood, revealing his face. Standing in front of Drake, was none other than his older brother, Zero Armageddon. Zero laughed again, this time, a cruel and uncaring laugh.
“Heh…Surprised?”
“Zero!? What the hell’s going on here!? Why?”
“Simple enough…my master has come here to destroy this world!”
Drake stood and dropped his sword. “Why?” Drake looked down. “Why are you trying to destroy your…” Drake paused for a moment. “…Our home?”
“I have no home anymore…” Zero’s glare dropped to the ground he was standing on, his cruel smile fading. “This is my fate.” With that last remark, Zero disappeared into the darkness. Drake dropped to his knees.
“Why… why Zero?” Drake felt himself return to the real world. He looked at his arm where the sword had grazed it. It would never fully heal, and he knew. “Zero…”

[Seven Years Earlier]
Drake rushed up and attacked Zero with all of his might. Drake knew he couldn’t beat his older brother, but he wouldn’t let that stop him. He punched Zero as hard as he could with his left hand, and charged energy into a powerful beam with his right hand, and shot it out at Zero. Almost as soon as it began, it was over. Zero knocked Drake back with ease, deflecting the blast away from him. Drake was on his back with Zero’ fist barely an inch from his face. I lost again!?
Drake Armageddon, the son of the King of Dragons, Dragon Armageddon. Drake’s hair was a spiky, jet black, and untamable. He was in his training gear, which consisted of red pants and shirt, and a single sword. His older brother was Zero Armageddon, the next in line to the Dragonan throne. He had spiky, black hair that flowed into long strands to about his mid-back. He was wearing his traditional clothes consisting of a black leather jacket, a white tank top, and blue jeans. They both had incredible strength, speed, agility, and abilities that not many had. They could both fly, and create beams of energy just by concentrating. This was the common heritage of Dragonans, who also had an extended lifetime of nearly 400 years. They also both had a diamond shaped pendant around their necks. Drake had a silver-white one, while Zero had a black one.
“You may be strong Drake, but if you don’t train more, you’ll get nowhere, you also need to stop hesitating before you attack.” Zero held out his hand to help his younger brother up.
Drake accepted the help, and was almost thrown up by Zero. “Ow…watch it Zero…”
“You ready to continue, or do you need a break?”
Drake jumped back, and took his attack position. “Let’s go!” Drake lunged at Zero, pulling out his training sword to attack his older brother. Zero moved swiftly out of the way, and rammed his fist hard into Drake’s stomach. Drake leapt back, coughing.
“Drake, don’t hesitate to attack me because I’m your brother. Imagine that I’m your enemy.” Zero looked at Drake. “What would happen if you had to fight me or dad in real life? You’d be dead! Come at me with the intent of killing me!” Zero spoke as though he knew that it would happen.
Drake kicked up another sword at his feet, then rushed up and slashed with only one sword. Zero again swiftly moved out of the way, but hadn’t calculated the second sword swing, and was hit hard across the head. Zero recovered fast, pulling out his sword. A trickle of blood ran across his face as Zero lunged at Drake, knocking both weapons out of his hands with a single blow, and kicked Drake hard in the stomach. Drake fell to his knees, gasping for air.
“It doesn’t matter Drake, no matter how hard you try, you can’t beat me. You are too caring. You could have easily knocked me out, but didn’t. I don’t think I can teach you much more unless you actually try!”
Drake father, Dragon, walked in, and stared at them both. “You guys should take a break, alright?”
Dragon Armageddon was the king of Dragonis, and one of the most powerful fighters alive. He had short, brown hair, and a very youthful spirit despite his age of nearly one-hundred. He always wore his Dragonan armor, a blood red breastplate, made from one of the toughest metals on the world. Currently, he was training only one person, his son Zero.
Drake got up, and went to the windowsill. He sat down for awhile, just staring out the window. He didn’t know why he was doing it, he just felt like something was telling him to. Then Drake saw something, the one thing that would change his life forever.
“Zero! Come quick, something is falling from space!”

Zero rushed to the window and saw what Drake was looking at. He was amazed at the sight of an escape pod falling onto the atmosphere. Zero quickly assessed the situation. No ships around, so it must have come from a nearby planet.
“Drake, stay here. I’m going to check this out!”
“No way!” Drake stared at Zero. “You want me to get stronger, right?”
“Alright, but don’t do anything unless I tell you to.” Drake grinned when Zero agreed.

As they flew to the crash site, Drake looked out over the land in which his father ruled. The landscape was rocky, yet still it retained life. The sky was a dark red color, which Drake could always look to and feel inspired to fight.
“Drake, don’t forget that if you stop focusing, you’ll stop flying!” Zero had stopped, watching Drake. Drake had almost completely forgotten that he was flying, and was slowly falling to the ground. He quickly focused his energy, and flew back up.
“Sorry.” Drake looked ashamed at himself.
They arrived at the crash site in no time. Lying in the rubble of the escape pod was a boy, about two years older than Drake’s appeared age, which was seven. The kid looked out as though he were knocked out, but he jumped up, and immediately rushed up and with a swift strike from his fist, knocked Zero into the remnants of the escape pod, and knocked him out. Drake assumed a defensive position, ready to fight. As he gazed upon his opponent, he could feel an unnatural darkness from within his soul. It didn’t seem like a kid like him could have this kind of darkness within him.
How is this possible? I’ve never felt energy like this before. It’s…dark. Drake sensed that this power wasn’t supposed to be inside him, especially by the look of the kid. The boy rushed at him, and then Drake realized that the boy wasn’t controlling his actions. He was struggling not to attack, but his body wouldn’t respond to what he wants to do. He was being controlled by the darkness. Drake knocked the boy back and rushed toward him, and then focused energy into his hands. He focused even more energy, and the energy became fire. Drake had ignited his hands, turning them into a fiery blaze.
Drake dodged the first few attacks, but nearly tripped over the rubble from the escape pod. The kid’s fist slammed into Drake. Drake retaliated by flipping back, forcing his way out of the kid’s rush, and sending a blast attack at him as the kid rushed by. The boy reflected the blast back at him, and Drake moved out of the way. The kid launched several of his own energy blasts at Drake. As Drake dodged the blasts, he started to look for a weapon, something he could use to get closer and knock the kid back with. He saw a metal pole while dodging, and managed to grab it. He held the pole as he would a sword, and ran toward the boy. He focused large amounts of energy into the pole, and used it to deflect more blasts that were constantly being launched at him, and finally got close enough to hit him hard across the head. The pole hit him across the head perfectly, knocking him unconscious. Drake walked up to him, and all of a sudden, a shining light blinded him. The light shone with great intensity, but was gone within a second. When the light subdued, Drake was dazed. The darkness is gone! How did I- Before Drake could finish his thought, he blacked out.

((It's only a taste...that and I can't post the entire story because of the limit))

Zero had disappeared when Drake had awoken. He looked around, trying to remember where he was. He had fought with that weird kid, but where did Zero go? He scanned the area, searching for any sign of his brother. Drake couldn’t see a trace of Zero. He looked toward the blonde kid. He looked almost dead. Drake walked over to him and picked him up, then began his journey home. With his power was somewhat exhausted, Drake figured he could fly, but not with the extra weight of the blonde kid. Drake looked for the nearest village, town, or city. He sensed a small energy source and dashed toward it. Nearly three hours later, he noticed a small outpost. It had several large battle cruisers around it. There was a big red one with a lot of weapons, which Drake recognized as a Ragnarok X. It was one of the best ships ever made, and the latest model. Drake would know; he loved machines and their mechanics. In fact, he aspired to modify one that his father had in the shop. When he finally arrived closer to the outpost, he heard someone inside speaking.
“I don’t believe we got away with two cruisers. I knew they were loaded, but they had two of the best ships ever!” The voice sounded sluggish.
So, the cruisers are stolen! Drake thought hard.
“So how do we get out of here?” Drake dropped the kid, startled by the noise. He had awoken while Drake was eavesdropping.
“Ow! Why did ya drop me?” The blonde spoke as if Drake dropped him on purpose.
“Sorry, you startled me… wait a sec! How long have you been awake?”
“Not too long, why?”
“Because I don’t like carrying you! You’re heavy!” Drake almost yelled the last comment.
“Well fine!” The boy jumped up, wobbling slightly.
At that moment, fifteen thugs walked out of the small outpost and noticed the two kids.
“Hey boss, what are dease kid doin’ here?” One of the thugs that was carrying a plasma rifle spoke.
“Kids eh? We can’t risk it, kill em both!” At that command, all fifteen of the thugs surrounded them. “You gonna wish you hadn’t come here stupid kids”
“Great…” The blonde kid sighed.
“Do we have to fight?” Drake took his defense stance.
The thugs attacked as an answer to Drake’s question. Guns and blades were everywhere, but since Drake still had the small pole, he was able to block the blades and dodge the shots. Drake blocked a blow, then ducked under another, kicking one of the thugs in the stomach. The other kid jumped up and kicked another thug in the stomach, the thug coiling over in pain. The battle ensued for several minutes until only three people were standing. The leader entered the fray, trying to strike down the kids. In an attempt to hit them, he ended up hurting his companion more than helping them. As the fight perused, Drake and the kid looked as if they were going to win until the leader clicked his gun, and pointed it to the blonde kid’s head. Drake lunged at the leader, pointing his pole to the thug’s chest.
“You kill him, I kill you!” Drake threatened. The pole glowed with intense energy that Drake was pulsing through it.
“You kill me, I fire the gun, and he dies!” The thug smirked. “You can’t win.
The boy in the middle sighed, then jumped high into the air, kicking upward, smashing his foot into the thug’s face.
“Wow. That was cool.”
“Ow! My foot hurts now, that guy has a hard head.”
“Hmm…” Drake looked at the two ships, his eyes fixed specifically on the Ragnarok. Then he got an idea. Drake walked up to the ship. He tapped the keyboard next to the main hatch a few times and the computer whirred and a light blinked a few times, then a map appeared on the main screen. “Perfect…come on hurry up and get on the Ragnarok,” Drake stopped for a second, “By the way, what’s your name?”
“My name is Rhonin.” The kid flicked his hair up slightly as if he were a star posing for a camera shoot. “I’m from Earth!”
The two kids climbed into the ship. Drake jumped into the pilot seat.
“Are you sure you can fly this?” Rhonin seemed slightly nervous.
“No problem! I fly all the time.” Drake flipped the main engine switch, and the engine roared to life. “Computer, engage main engine.” Drake commanded as if he owned the ship. The ship complied and the engines flared up. Drake grabbed the control stick, and prepared to launch. He tapped a few more buttons, and then took off. Since the people who owned the ship might want it back, he decided to fly it there first.
A few hours later, they found themselves back home. The ship had flown them conveniently towards the Dragonan Kingdom where his father was. They returned the stolen ship, and walked the rest of the way home. Dragon Armageddon, Drake’s father, was waiting for them. After the long explanation, Drake’s father decided to keep Rhonin around for a while, to teach him along with Drake until they discovered what had happened on Earth.

((And here comes more!))

A few days later, Rhonin and Drake found themselves standing before Dragon. “Well, I’m impressed. Rhonin has made quite an impression on you Drake; you’re never up this early!” Dragon seemed impressed. “But, that’s still not good enough. You both need to practice more. Rhonin!” Rhonin looked up. “Question. Do you know about energy types?”
“No sir, I don’t.” Rhonin seemed slightly confused, but added ‘sir’ because he felt it was necessary.
Dragon nodded. “Drake, if you don’t mind, help me explain. Just show the types of powers as I name them.” Drake nodded. “Alright, the first type of energy is known as physical energy. It’s what allows us to move about.” Drake jumped up and down, throwing a few fake punches. “The next type of energy is called Life energy. This is what allows us to live; it gives us basic living functions, such as breathing, out heart pumping energy, and so forth.” Drake shrugged his shoulders, not understanding how to show of life energy. “That’s ok. Next type of energy is called Radical Energy. This type of energy is in the air, and is uncontrollable. Whenever we need to use energy, we draw radical energy from the air. It then fuses itself with our excess life energy, creating the next type of energy, known as Refined Energy. This is what allows us to fly, fire of energy blasts, and do other things that would seem normally impossible. You understand so far?” Drake had just finished his demonstration of Refined Energy, which he had shown by flying around the room.
Rhonin blinked a few times. “Uh, yeah, I think so. Physical energy is basically movement and strength, Life Energy is what keeps us living, Radical energy fuses with life energy to become Refined energy, which is what we use to create energy attacks.”
Dragon nodded. “Now, the last type of energy is-“
“Dad! I don’t want to do it!’ Drake looked as his dad pleadingly.
“You have to learn how to sustain it, so do it anyway!” Drake sighed. “Alright, the final type of energy is known as spirit energy. Spirit energy is a type of energy that resides within every living thing. Very few people have good control over it, but those who can master it can drain other people’s spirit energy and use it to their own advantage.” Drake lifted his hand, creating a small orb. Small speck of light began adding to it, making it grow larger. Drake seemed to be straining himself.
“Is this good?” Drake managed to speak with a soft voice. “Can I drop it yet?” Dragon nodded. Drake let the energy down, and it dissipated. Everyone in the room felt the power release, Rhonin was particularly impressed.
“I’d like to learn how to use spirit energy…seems powerful.” Rhonin smiled, thinking of the ability. “In fact, if you don’t mind, I’d like to stay here. At least until I remember how I got here, and if I can get back home.” Dragon nodded again.
“I also forgot to mention two other types of energy, Pure Energy and Defiled Energy." Dragon added. "Pure Energy is energy with light embedded in it, while Defiled Energy is dark energy. Pure Energy can cancel out the darkness in Defiled Energy.”
Drake thought back to when he was fighting Rhonin for the first time, the darkness he felt in him. That power…was that Defiled Energy? And my power, the one that stopped it…could that possibly be Pure Energy? Interesting... Maybe I should start training to use Pure Energy…

Drake and Rhonin became great friends, and a powerful team to be reckoned with. Dragon Armageddon had trained both of them in the arts of Dragonian Fighting, and had taught them everything they knew. Soon, almost seven years had passed. Each had grown in power, beyond even Dragon Armageddon himself, yet only Dragon himself knew this. Dragon believed that if they could master the power that they hadn’t tapped into yet, that they could become nearly invincible. Soon, though, that power would begin to reveal itself.
Both Drake and Rhonin had each learned one attack each, if not more, that they had almost perfected. Drake’s move was called Divinity Shot. He charged energy into a ball form, and fired it off. The energy was pure energy, which Drake was trying to form into more powerful forms.
Rhonin’s technique was called Spirit Chain. His attack used spirit energy, and created a beam out of the energy. The beam then went through the opponent, sapping his spirit energy, creating a huge ball behind him. Rhonin then pulls the chain, and it smashes into the person.
Both attacks required much training. Each went through intense training, but it was nowhere near enough training to prepare them for the rough times ahead.

((Dang...I chose a bad place to leave off))

((And yet more!))
Drake was repairing his Ragnarok in his secret workshop below the Dragonan Kingdom. He loved being down there, fixing his stuff, making new things, even practicing his fighting skills. It was all about the secrecy and silence that he loved about it.
The Ragnarok would have been a normal model ship, had he not tampered with it, added modifications, and systems that he created himself. He called it the Ragnarok GX, adding the GX as his own model type. His workshop was huge, inventions lying everywhere. Most were experimental weapons. A few things were prototype computers, his best connected to the Ragnarok’s engine. It even had a name, Cypher. One of his more recent experimental weapons happened to be holstered on his side. It was called the Z-44. This weapon had three forms. One form was a machine gun, the second was a sniper rifle, and the last was an impact rifle, all in one gun. He had other Z models, but this was his latest and best. Unfortunately, Drake didn’t really like using guns. He built them for the challenge only.
Drake looked at the engine, fiddled with some wires, then turned a bolt a few times, then walked up to his special computer, designed specifically to handle the Ragnarok’s systems. He typed a few buttons, then froze. His Dragon Senses had kicked in, and he heard someone walk into the room. He whirled around, drawing his gun and sword swiftly. Only one person, aside from himself, knew about this area, and that person was presumed dead.
“Nice place you have here Drake.” Rhonin.
“How did you find this place?”
“I followed your energy signature, then found the elevator leading down here. Nice hiding spot.”
“Oh…okay…Now of you don’t mind, I’d like you to leave.” Drake really didn’t care how he found it, he was just annoyed that Rhonin found him. Drake liked his privacy.
“Jeez, you don’t want me down here?”
Drake turned back to the computer, ignoring Rhonin, and typed a few more keys, then went back to the Ragnarok. Rhonin followed. Drake opened the main engines up again, and started to work, wiring the engine into the main controls. The engines were almost 30,000tons apiece, and there were four of them. Needless to say, the Ragnarok was big, fast, and extremely powerful.
Then, it happened. They both heard it and felt it, and both jumped out of the way of an oncoming power blast. They both landed on the ground at the exact same moment, both ready to defend themselves, weapons drawn. Drake was the first to move, he rushed outside of the workshop, noticing the charred elevator, but just flying out instead. Rhonin followed him outside, barely keeping up. They both spotted the assailant, who was wearing a black cloak, the face was hidden behind a hood. Whoever the person was, they wanted to be found. Drake again attacked first.
“Divinity Shot!” Drake yelled out. He felt the energy pulse into his arm, a bright ball of energy launching out from his hand straight towards his opponent.
“Spirit Chain!” Rhonin cried out. A bright orange beam shot from his hands, but the assailant was quick and easily jumped out of harms way.
“Weak.” Drake quickly analyzed the voice as a male, maybe in his thirties. But what really got Drake is that he had heard that voice before, but he couldn’t recall from where.
Drake rushed up and attempted a combo of punches and kicks, but the man threw Drake back with a simple backhand.
• “Hmm… so, the only threat that my master thought would be a problem, turns out to be two, weak kids. Master Riados will be pleased when I kill you both. Then we can destroy this stupid planet.”
Drake rushed at him, then disappeared, engulfed with darkness. Rhonin looked around, trying to find Drake. He searched for a few minutes, extremely confused, then out of nowhere, Drake appeared, kneeling on the ground. The cloaked figure was nowhere to be seen.
“Zero…” Drake was looking down and pale, almost as if he’d seen a ghost.
“Drake!? What happened?”
“…Never mind what happened. We have to find my father!” Rhonin didn’t bother asking why, but remembered to question Drake about it later.
They ran toward the palace, prepared for the worst. If that man who was working for Riados was telling the truth, then they would have a hard time getting into the main town. They hid near the palace’s main gates, Drake in the lead.. Soldiers from neighboring planets were all around, he recognized them from the boring political meetings he was forced to attend every so often.
Why are they helping the enemy? Drake thought for a moment. That was when Drake sensed the darkness in their hearts. Again with the darkness, but how am I sensing this? Almost immediately as he thought that, a huge power blast aimed from the sky hit a few of the soldiers.
“Dad!”
“Master Dragon!” Rhonin had started adding ‘Master’ when Dragon had begun teaching them.
“Good, your safe.” Dragon spoke as he landed on the ground. “But everyone else in the castle is dead.”
The time that it took to say this, every soldier in the vicinity had arrived at the spot. Drake, Dragon, and Rhonin were surrounded by hundreds of the warriors. They were all ready to strike the three heroes.
“Surrender now, and we will spare your lives!” The soldiers commanded in a dark tone. Drake rushed up and slammed his foot into the warrior’s face. As the soldier fell, Drake swung his foot around, hitting two more of the warriors.
“How’s that for an answer!” At Drake’s words, all of the warriors attacked. Dragon wasted no time, and blew them all away with a power blast, hundreds of times more powerful than Drake and Rhonin’s blasts combined. Drake looked around, amazed at what his father had done.
“C’mon, we don’t have this kind of time.” Dragon turned and ran into the forest.

((He's still a teen.....basically. In dragon years....))

“D-, I mean, Vulkan are you ready?” A man wearing dark clothes with spiked up black hair nodded.
“Yeah, let’s go.” The young man tied his blade around his back.
Vulkan appeared to be about 20, had incredible strength, and an odd diamond shaped pendant around his neck. They were both on a ship that resembled a Ragnarok, but with large amounts of modifications. Vulkan wasn’t quite sure if he was ready, but he had no choice. His timing had to be precise, or he could endanger the mission. He opened a hatch, and jumped out of the ship. He spotted exactly what he was looking for, three people, running from dark warriors. As he got closer, he moved his hand down, aiming at the darkened warriors, and fired a blast. With incredible speed, power, and precision, the blast blew away the warriors with ease. Then, Vulkan landed right in front of the three warriors Vulcan knew as Drake, Dragon, and Rhonin.
”Who are you?” Dragon spoke out.
“I’m Vulkan Raider, I’ve come to help.”
“How can we trust you?” Drake spoke with confidence. He wasn’t sure why, but he felt a weird feeling, like he’d met Vulcan before.
“You can trust me because… because I have this.” He showed him the pendant around his neck. Dragon understood.
“So what, he has a Dragonan pendant…” Drake said.
“He probably stole it!” Rhonin took a step forward.
“We can trust him.” Drake and Rhonin were both stunned at this idea, but didn’t question their master. Dragon motioned Vulcan over to talk. After a few second, they walked back, and Dragon nodded. “Let’s go.”

They started off, running into the forest nearby, the eternally red trees whizzing past them. Vulkan looked toward the east, then to the west.
“We should go west. Staying in the forest is a good idea, but we need to go west.”
“Why?” Drake looked at him suspiciously. I know I’ve met him somewhere, but where?
“Just trust me, you have to.”
They headed for the west, Vulkan in the lead. He seemed to know where he was headed, but Drake still didn’t trust him. After a few hours of nonstop running, they came into a clearing. In the center of this clearing was a stone, with two blades crossed, stuck into the stone. One of the blades was shining with a golden light, while the other was engulfed in powers of darkness. Vulkan walked up to Dragon and whispered something into his ear. Dragon’s eyes widened as he heard whatever Vulkan was telling him. Dragon then went up to the twin swords, and firmly gripped the handle of the gold one. Almost with ease, the sword slid out of the stone, and shone brighter than before.
“That is the Golden Nova Sword”, Vulkan said as he walked over to the other sword, “And this is the Darkness Nova Blade. These are twin blades that have incredible power. One of pure light, one of pure darkness.” Vulan seemed to know what he was saying.
Drake eyed him suspiciously. “How would you know that?”
Vulcan sighed. “I can’t tell you…at least not yet.”
Dragon swung the sword around, getting a feel for the weight and size. “This sword feels lighter, despite its appearance. I can feel the power flowing through me and the sword.”
Before anyone else could respond, they were surrounded. Nearly one hundred Dragonan soldiers had them surrounded, blades drawn. Drake sensed the familiar darkness from his battle with Rhonin, and locked in his battle stance. Dragon realized what Drake was doing and brought his new sword down, ready to attack anyone who came near. Vulkan grabbed two swords from his back, one held backwards, one held forward, and readied himself. Drake looked at Vulcan’s style, and realized it was similar to his, differing only slightly.
Zero appeared behind the warriors, acting as the commander. Darkness seemed to engulf him, and Drake nearly lost his posture from the feeling it gave him/
“Zero!” Dragon looked at his eldest son, amazed that he’d be associated with the darkness.
“Hmph. My master told me about how only one person can pull out one sword. How the sword chooses its wielder.” He seemingly glided over to the dark blade. The shadow encased warrior firmly grasped the blade’s handle and pulled it. The blade slid out of the stone, glowing with a dark power. He swung the sword, shattering the stone that it was previously trapped in, showing off the darkened powers of the Darkness Nova Blade.
Drake remembered the legend. Only the supposed chosen could pull the blades, each one would only respond to the ultimate light, and the ultimate dark. Each of the blades even had a name to show the association. The Twin Nova Blades. One of great light, one of great dark. The Golden Nova and Darkness Nova blades.
Drake was brought back to reality by Zero’s harsh words.
“Kill them.” Zero smirked at the order.
The warriors that surrounded them obeyed the command, and moved in to kill them. Drake rushed one of them and kicked him hard in the stomach, and the soldier dropped the sword he was holding. Drake kicked it up into his hand, holding both swords, spinning them quickly to get a feel for the weight. The other soldiers saw this as an opportune moment to attack. They swarmed Drake, slashing away endlessly. Drake spun around, both swords slashing through the air, one blocking left whole the other surged right, killing another soldier. Drake blocked another blade, kicking the next soldier down, stabbing him through the chest, leaving the blade. The young warrior spun around, plunging his blade into another soldier, quickly grabbing the soldiers sword, and kicking the soldier back. Drake paused long enough to see his father fighting Zero.
The two legendary swords clashed against one another. Each clash seemed to make the swords yearn for more power, which they freely gave to their users. They both gleamed with power, the Golden Nova Sword with a gold shine, the Darkness Nova Blade with a dark aura. Both of them were evenly matched, until a blast came from high above, striking Dragon back. Zero’s help has arrived.

“Master Riados!” Zero ran to his new backup. Riados looked around at Drake and the others.
“So…these are the ‘resistance’ you spoke of. Quite pitiful in my eyes.” Riados’ tone of voice was incredibly dull as his bright red hair seemed to defy the dull red sky in the air. His metal armor gleamed in the Dragonan sun, somehow covering his whole body.
“Pathetic… Oblivion!” He held out his hand, and a powerful blast erupted from his hand. Drake saw the blast head straight for them, and Dragon leaped up into the air and stopped it from getting any closer to Drake, Rhonin and Vulkan. He flew high into the air to defend the three against Riados. Drake and Rhonin tried to follow, but Vulkan had other plans.
“Drake, Rhonin! We need to find a ship to get off this planet. Riados plans to destroy it.” Vulcan, again, seemed to know what was going to happen.
“Wait a sec…How do you know that he plans to destroy the planet?” Drake eyed him suspiciously again.
“I-it’s… hard to explain! Vulcan knew he couldn’t keep up his charade much longer.
“You’re in league with him!” Drake rushed up to him, bringing his blade to Vulcan’s neck.
“No…It’s more complicated than even that…” Vulcan looked down, not bothering to defend himself.
“Just tell us!” This time, Rhonnin was the one who was threatening.
“Later…Right now, we need to find a ship.” Drake and Rhonin wanted to find out, but gave up for the time being. Vulcan seemed trustworthy for some reson.
“I know where we can find a ship…We’ll use the RGX.” Drake’s eyes brightened. He finally had a use for his specialized ship.
Vulkan silently cursed to himself. He had forgotten about the Ragnarok GX. He knew that it wasn’t finished yet. Again, Vulcan knew it was only a matter of time before his charade was up.
“Drake, it’s not done is it?” Vulcan looked up at Drake.
“No, but with Rhonin and you, we can get it done in maybe a half an hour or so.” Drake looked into the sky. “But we’ll need to hurry.” He completely overlooked the fact that he hadn’t said that the RGX wasn’t finished yet.
“I don’t know if we have that kind of time, but it’s the only solution.” Vulcan thought hard. He knew how to fix the ship, but Drake wouldn’t have the tools in this time era. Vulcan would know, but his guise would be blown if he said anything else.
They headed for Drake’s workshop, eliminating the threats, such as Riados’ minions, as they came along. Once they got to the workshop, they began working.

Dragon deflected another blast from Riados, and shot one of his own blasts back. Riados slashed his blade though the air, deflecting the blast back at Dragon, who in return, swung his sword and deflected it off into the surrounding landscape. Zero warped behind Dragon, and grabbed him as Riados rushed up and slammed his fist into Dragon. He ripped the sword from Dragon’s hand, and threw it towards the ground. Dragon reached behind him, grabbing Zero’s arm and throwing him off, flipping him into Riados. He charged up a blast while the two were trying to regain balance, and blasted them.
“C’mon Zero! You can do better!” Dragon taunted. “I’ve taught you to fight way better than this!” Zero growled, and rushed toward Dragon with every intent on killing him.

Drake finished the final component in the RGX. He hopped into the seat, typing a few keys and pressing several buttons.
“It’s ready, lets get out of here.”
They all hopped on to the ship. Vulkan got behind the controls before Drake could act, and flew the ship toward the battleground. It didn’t take long for the airship to reach the already ruined battlefield, where a battle of great importance would soon take place.
Riados threw Dragon to the ground, but Drake was ready, and caught his father. He set him down.
“Dad?” Drake looked worried.
“I’m okay…thanks.” Dragon got up carefully, breathing heavily.
Riados was angered that he didn’t kill Dragon.
“It’s time to finish this!” Riados raised his hand, charging massive amounts of energy into it. “Oblivion!” Power beyond anything he’d ever used erupted from his hand in the form of a beam. The blast was so powerful, if it hit the planet, nothing would survive.
Drake looked up as he saw Riados fire the blast, and had an idea. He copied Riados’ stance, then held his hand high in the air, aiming at Riados.
“Here’s all or nothing! Oblivion!” Drake felt beyond confident. The power was ripped from his body, all of it going into his hand and into the blast. He tried with all of his might not to faint. The blast shot forward, hitting Riados’ and repelling it back all the way to his hand. Riados was hit by the blast’s impact and fell back. Drake saw one last thing before he fainted, his father running towards Riados. Unknown to Drake, this would be the last time he would see Dragon’s true form.
Vulkan knew what was coming next. He’d seen it happen three times, and he disliked the outcome.
“Rhonin, grab Drake and get in the ship.”
“Right!” Rhonin grabbed Drake, hoisting him up.
They both clambered on to the ship, Drake’s unconscious form over Rhonin’s shoulder. Vulkan got in the pilot seat, and took off immediately.
Dragon ran toward Riados, preparing for his final assault while Riados pushed himself off the ground. Dragon rushed at him, kicking him high into the air. He seemed to disappear and reappear behind him, and grabbed hold of him.
“What are you doing!?” Riados struggled wildly.
Dragon started to charge every last ounce of energy he had into his body.
“Wonder why our surname is Armageddon? Well here’s the reason!” As Dragon charged the last of the energy he needed, he spoke his final words. ”Drake…We’ll meet again, I promise…” Drake’s body on the ship twitched, almost as if he heard it.

The explosion destroyed what was left of the planet. Dragon had used the forbidden technique, Armageddon. He was dead, no doubt about it. The King of Dragonis had sacrificed himself to save Drake, Rhonin, and Vulcan.
The RGX was in space already, safe from harm. Drake was still out cold. Rhonin looked out to what was left of his previous home, and then he fainted.
Rhonin found himself wandering through his memories. He walked through an arch, and found himself back home.
“Earth, my true home.” Rhonin spoke aloud, and his voice echoed as the memories began to run their course. He watched as a figure shrouded in pure dark energy appeared in the street. The Rhonin in his memories appeared, wielding a blade. He rushed up to hit the figure, but the dark-infused enemy was too powerful. In an instance, Rhonin was consumed by the dark power. Several other people stormed into the street. The dark figure threw Rhonin at them. All but one moved out of the way, but the last one stayed, and caught Rhonin.
“We need to get the Guardian away from here!” He turned towards one of his partners. “We don’t stand a chance against him; hold him off while we save the Guardian!” Then he ran.
Rhonin awoke with a jolt. It had been a few hours, but Rhonin didn’t care. “I knew I recognized him! Riados was the one who destroyed my home!” Rhonin jumped up. What about the Guardian? What was that guy talking about? Riados walked towards the cockpit of the RGX.
“Hey Vulkan, have you ever heard of a ‘Guardian?”
“You mean the Twelve Legendary Guardians? Yeah, I have. There are supposed to be seven guardians, the Guardian of Power, the Guardian of Fate, the Guardian of Legends, the Guardian of Dragons, the Guardian of Chaos, the Guardian of the Apocalypse, the Guardian of Time, the Guardian of the Rising Sun, the Guardian of the Waning Moon, the Guardian of Light, and the Guardian of Shadows. They’re power is derived from what they protect, and they guard not only the Universe, but the Gigaverse.”
“Are they real? And what’s the Gigaverse?” Rhonin looked confused. “And-“
“…Go get Drake.” Vulcan interrupted. He seemed suddenly serious.
Rhonin walked over to Drake. Drake had woken up a long time ago, but hadn’t spoken since Vulcan told him about Dragon.
“Drake, Vulkan wants to talk to us.” Rhonin tried to be as sympathetic as possible, but it didn’t really work.
Drake got up, walking to the front of the ship.
“Okay…” He replied, but his voice seemed hollow and lifeless.
“Drake, Rhonin…You know the legends of the Twelve Guardians?”
Drake shrugged. “Not really, I get the basics.”
Vulcan sighed. “Alright, you know that they separated between the two, one group becoming the Legendary Seven, and the other breaking off into a group of five?” Drake nodded. “Ok, that’s all you need to know. The reason all of this has happened, is because of them.”
“What?!” Drake looked at him angrily. “You mean to tell me that my dad died because if some stupid legend?
“Both of you and your father are Guardians.” Vulcan took a deep breath of air. “Okay?”
“Guardians!?” Rhonnin spoke this time. “We’re legends?
“How do you know?!” Drake was still furious.
“Because! I’m from the future…” Vulcan seemed to loosen up after that.
“Really! Then you know the Guardians!” Rhonin looked in awe.
“Unfortunately, no. They’re dead; they passed on their powers in my timeline.”
“You mean…to us? Why are you telling us? Isn’t this disrupting the timeline?”
Vulcan shook his head. “No, it’s not. I’m preventing something from happening, but it always happens no matter what I do, it just changes ever so slightly every time I go back. It won’t affect my future, but it will make a heavy impact on yours. Only two of them have passed their powers to you two. Dragon was passed the power of the Guardian of Power.”
Drake looked a little peeved at this point, “How do you know my dad was a Guardian?”
“He told me. Before he died, because I told him…who I was.” Vulcan looked down.
“Wait, who are you?” Drake had finally lost his pissed edge.
Vulkan turned to Drake.
“My name is Drake Armageddon.” The computer behind him bleeped. “And we’re here.”

Endless: Part Two- Legend of Guardians

The RGX landed on the nearly finished NeoEarth. The NeoEarth plans had been made when Earth became overpopulated. NeoEarth was supposed to look and feel exactly as Earth, only much bigger with seemingly unlimited natural resources. The planet wasn’t a hugely successful project until Earth had been destroyed, and the surviving humans moved to the planet. The new planet also came with increased human enhancements, such as new strength, speed, and much more…
Drake, Rhonin, and Vulkan stepped of the ship, looking around. Nobody was around, only a few animals. They searched around the vicinity for signs of intelligent life, but didn’t find a trace. Vulcan had a feeling that something was wrong, and began to ponder the situation. Drake sat down under a tree, deep in thought. Vulkan walked around, took out his sword, and cut a large visible mark onto the tree. Then he turned to Rhonin.
“I’ll be back in a few hours. Watch for any sign of civilization, but don’t leave the area. I don’t know why, but this place should at least have human life signs. I can’t seem to sense anyone. Keep out of trouble.”
Vulkan walked off, leaving Drake and Rhonin alone. Several hours passed, but Vulkan didn’t return. Rhonin had watched Drake, who had fallen into a deep sleep during the entire time, ignoring the pangs of hunger as they passed.
“Hey Drake, how long has it been since Vulkan left?” Rhonin shook Drake awake, hoping he had a watch or something. “Wake up already!”
“He’s here. Still alive. I can feel it.” Drake stood up, groggily. “He’s still alive.” Tears streamed down his face, and he seemed delusional. “He killed my dad.” Drake’s voice was barely a whisper in the wind. “I-I’ll kill him!” Drake jumped up, running into the forest. Waiting for him was Riados, blade in hand.
“Well, well, what do we have here? A pathetic brat.” He sneered, then laughed. “So, you heard me calling then?”
“I’ll kill you!!” Drake drew his sword, and rushed to the entity, attacking him. Drake readied a vertical slash, but Riados simply slashed him back. Drake fell to the floor, tears still coming down his face.
“Ha-ha-ha! You thought you could actually hurt me? Your father couldn’t even scratch me, what makes you think that you can?” Riados emphasized this, raising his power, a dark aura glowing around him. “You’re not even strong enough to beat your own brother!” Riados kicked him across the ground as he mocked the hurt boy.
Drake stood up shakily, almost falling back to the ground. He rushed at Riados, not quite as fast, only to be knocked back to the ground again.
Riados held out his hand to blast him, power surging in his hand, but just as he fired the attack, it was knocked off-course by a sword. Vulkan jumped from the shadows of a tree; catching the sword he had thrown to deflect the blast.
“I’ll kill you with my bare hands! I had to watch my father die twice because of you!” Vulkan roared as rushed at Riados, having more luck than Drake. He slammed into Riados, shoving him back, and then thrust his sword out. Riados dodged the sword, and attacked. They exchanged several blows before finally halting in front of each other, both out of breath. Riados stood in front of Vulkan, breathing heavily watching. Vulkan kneeled down, trying to catch his breath, obviously showing he was weaker than Riados. Vulcan had several cuts on his arms and was bleeding heavily from a stab wound about where his ribcage on his left was, while Riados had a large gash over his right eye, and right arm was almost shredded, yet neither of them showed signs of pain.
“Zero, kill Drake and the other brat.” He waived his hand, summoning Drake’s brother. Zero materialized from darkness, holding the dark blade that he had pulled from the sanctuary where the dual swords had once fought.
“Hello dear brother.” Zero seemed entranced by the darkness, his voice was monotone.
“Zero! You don’t have to listen to him, please!” Drake pleaded with Zero, hoping that Zero would listen.
Zero lunged at Drake, ignoring the constant cries from Drake. Drake barely managed to dodge the attack. He drew his sword, ready to strike, but hesitated. Zero took the opening, and struck Drake. Drake flew back, trying to recover quickly, blood forming at the gash on his neck. He retaliated by flipping backwards, and firing off several blasts from his hand. Every shot hit its mark, and Zero fell to the ground.
“Finish it now Drake, just kill me.” Zero was staring towards the ground, accepting his loss. “Well?”
Drake walked up to the fallen warrior. “I can’t kill you Zero. You’re my brother!” Zero looked up.
“Then die…” Zero grabbed Drake’s sword from his hand, and plunged it through Drake. Drake looked down at the sword that was in his chest.
“Zero…why…did…you…” He continued staring down, trying to remain conscious. “Why?”
“I told you,” Drake’s vision started to blur, “That of you can’t finish your opponent, he will kill you, no matter who he is, including those closest to you.”
Zero pulled the sword out, and Drake fell to the ground, the open wound bleeding heavily. “Master, I’ve done what you have requested.” Zero spoke with satisfaction. “Do you require my aid?” Riados deflected a blow from Vulkan.
“No. We shall retreat for now.” Riados opened a portal into darkness. “Hmph, I’ll destroy the rest of you later!” The two darkened warriors disappeared through the portal. Both Vulkan and Rhonin ran toward the fallen Drake.
“Drake! Damnit!” Vulkan picked Drake’s dying body up. “We have to find someone who can save Drake, fast!”
Rhonin flew high into the air. “I see a small house over there. Let’s go!”

my only issue with it is your sentence beginnings, (They, The, and names), you should really put a variety!!! :D, some you know, participle beginnings, prepositions and things

I also hate "Ha-ha-ha" I think laughing should never be typed out, just described in a serious story.

but still, it's pretty impressive

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drake was surrounded by shadows. Where am I? Drake looked around, but he saw nothing but the darkness around him. Am I dead? Drake tried to move. My body…I can’t feel it. What’s going on!?
“Welcome to the darkness Drake. This has been my home ever since I left Dragonis.”
Drake looked around. “Who said that!?” A figure appeared before Drake.
“I did!” Drake’s brother stood before him.
“Zero!” Drake realized he could move again. “I should kill you for what you’ve done!” Drake reached for his blades, which were conveniently still attached to his belt.
“You should…If you had the ability to!” He took his hand, grabbing Drake by the face, throwing him back, Drake’s body slamming into an invisible force. Zero walked in front of him, and stuffed his hands in his pockets. “But you can’t, you don’t have the courage to!”
Drake looked down, out of both pain and regret. “Your right, I can’t…” Drake took his hands off his sword.
“Your weak Drake, you couldn’t even defend your father, save him from death.” Zero continued his mocking. “If you had been stronger, he might have survived.” Zero got right in Drake’s face. “And maybe I wouldn’t have left!”
A voice came from the shadows. “That’s right Drake. You could have saved me.” Drake’s father, Dragon walked from the shadows, and crossed his arms.
Drake winced. “I-I’m sorry…”
“You should be…Letting our father die is unforgivable.” Zero spoke to Drake with a harsh tone of darkness.
“That merits a punishment,” Drake’s father spoke with the same uncaring, dark tone. “A punishment of death!”
Drake’s guard came back up. “You’re not my father…And you can’t be my brother either. This isn’t true!” Drake’s power exploded from within him. Dual swords appeared in his hands, one of which appeared like the sword that Dragon used before he died, the other resembling the sword Zero used during the battle between the two. “I’ll kill every last dark dream that haunts me!” Drake lashed out at Zero and Dragon, cutting straight through both of them. As he turned, he saw that they both survived, and had their respectable swords drawn and ready.
“You can’t be me Drake, you know it! How can you expect to defeat both of us!?” Zero taunted Drake.
“Simple enough…I’ve already told you…you’re not Zero!” Drake lunged out at Zero, the edge of the blade that looked like the Golden Nova Blade. Zero looked down at the wound, surprised. “H-how!?” Drake pulled the sword out, and raised his hand, charging energy into it. “Take this! Oblivion!” The blast consumed Zero, completely erasing his form. Drake turned to Dragon. “I’ll kill you for impersonating my dad…” Drake raised his hand yet again and fired another Oblivion. The blast collided with his sword, but didn’t make it past it. Dragon moved quickly, countering with a blast of his own. Drake slashed the blast, deflecting it out of the way, then rushed up to strike Dragon.
“You can’t beat me Drake! I know all of your moves. I may not be your father, but I’m just as powerful!” Drake froze. He recognized the fighting style.
“Riados!?” Drake stood in shock. “This is the same power you used against Zero and Rhonin! This is how you’re controlling my brother!” Drake looked up to see Dragon’s image gone, and the image of Riados in its place. “I’ll destroy this darkness!” Drake slashed at Riados, only to find that he was gone. Drake spun around and barely dodged a blow from the newly formed sword in Riados’ hand.
“Well, what are you waiting for, are you not going to kill me, or can you?” Riados mocked. He kicked Drake back, and then charged a blast in his hand. The blast turned a dark shade of purple, evil energy pouring into it. Drake saw his chance, and charged energy into his hand.
How do I do this? The energy in his hand began to overcharge, and he felt incredible pain in his arm, but he endured it, charging even more into his arm. I need Pure, untainted energy! Drake continued charging, then transforming the energy into a light type of energy to counter the darkness. “Here’s everything I’ve got! Divine Shot!” The energy launched itself forward, catapulting into the dark energy. The dark energy exploded, destroying it completely. Drake looked in complete amazement. I did it! I won… Then he fainted.

----------------------------------------------------------------

“He’s coming around…I think he’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure? He looks dead!”
“He’s fine Rhonin. Zink, thanks a lot.” Drake’s eyes fluttered open. Standing above Drake were three people, Rhonin, Vulkan and a third man. The third guy was big, not fat, but built in a tough fashion. He had large muscles and fists, almost like a bodybuilder type. His hair was fairly short, and was really dark brown, almost black. He had a kind but stern face. And his name was Zink.
Drake’s chest was patched up, and he had a bandage that was wrapped around his chest several times. Drake’s vision was still blurry, but he saw well enough to see Vulkan.
“I saw our dad. Well…sorta. It was like a shadow of him or something, the darkness. Then he turned into Riados. It was weird.” Drake spoke with a slow, sleep-like tone.
“It’s okay Drake, your fine. Go back to sleep.” Vulkan turned. “Zink, where’s some firewood?” Drake blacked out again before he heard anything else.
