when you made your account did you check off "recieve e-mail from other members"
if you did then you get PM's back if you didnt then you wont get PM's back

I'm not sure what you mean by "nothing shows up". Please describe your problem a little more in depth. Thanks.

Ok I did what KH did and sent you a PM Mara..... What happened?:confused:
Ok when I reply a PM everyone messages me back saying that I said nothing. And I see that nothing is there when I look at the message I sent.

I saw my quote but it's like you didn't reply to it. You didn't type anything in.

the same thing happens to me just erase the whole message and then reply thats what i do and it works fine..

The same thing is happening to me as well, but it is also deleteing longer post that I type out as well.... I thought it was just my computer messing up. O.o

I think what they means is they write a message, and sends it. When the person replies, they tell them that he didn't write anything.. like the letters got lost along the way.

For me it deletes long post like if I wanted to joing a RPG I wouldnt beable to because I fill out the imformation but once I click send half the post is missing so I have to delete the message... And as for Pm's I can send them a pm but once they reply I have to erase what they had so when I reply back they will be able to see it, like what happens with post the massage is lost or something....

I'll need to know some information in order to debug this. What OS/Browser are you using? Can you email me a sample of something you've tried to post that failed? (There should be a link to email me from my profile.)

I can't get to it right now, but later today I'll take a look at it. More than likely it's not something I can fix, as it could be vBulletin bugs or something hiccupping on the server's side.

You say it does this to you when you write long messages!?!?! I think I know what is happening!! When you write long posts, or in this case long PM's for such a great period of time on the forum, you get logged off. This has happened to me numerous times. You see, the forum system sees that you are not currently active (meaning you aren't switching threads), you are just on one certain thread. What this does, is it starts a sort of "countdown" until you get logged off automatically. When you press "Post Message" or "Send Private Message" you are redirected to log back in, but what you wrote has been deleted for some reason. What I do when I know that I will be writing a long post. Before I press Send/Post, I highlight everything I wrote, and "Copy" it, so I can just "Paste" it back on a new post/message that way nothing gets deleted.
