Castle Oblivion

I was just wondering if anybody had information on how the Organization found Castle oblivion? or did they make it?

I was just thinking about this because it seemed that Marluxia and some of the others have been at the castle for a long time before they even knew about Sora.

I'm not sure the game ever really said, might be 1 of those things to go undiscovered. They probably found it after the organization was started(obviously) but I would think they only had it shortly before Sora left Destiny islands in KH1. Since after all he was visited in the "Secret Spot" (or whatever it was called lol) by some1 in the organization, most likely Xemnas. Plus don't forget, Xemnas was only created shortly before Sora left the islands. I say this because the king left to find out why the stars (worlds) were going out in KH1. And as you sknow by now this involved "ansem's" research even though it wasn't ansem it was Xenhenort. Causing Donald and Goofy to leave and find Sora and you know the rest from there.

Yeah that makes since... I just really wanted to know how the Organization found castle Oblivion or if they created it like how that Twilight town was created (but I doubt that a little... )

But I guess the main question is who would make a castle that takes your memories?

The castle didn't taake memories, Namine did. The farther up the castle they got, the closer they were to Namine, and the longer she had been able to change their memories.

But I thought they had found the castl;e abandoned, and used it for their own purposes. Always wondered about its origins.

The only thing we know about the Castle is from the interview, which doesn't tell us much:

'When was the XIII Organization founded?'

'The timing is when Philosopher Ansem's 6 disciples turned into Heartless. The XIII Organization is called like that just because it has recruited 13 members, but it doesn't matter if it has "XIII" in its name or not. All 13 members were already gathered in KH:COM but the members that were in Castle Oblivion still called it as the "Organization."'

'Did Namine meet DiZ after Sora's story in KH:COM?'

'Yes, they contacted each other between Sora and Riku's stories. Namine coorperated with DiZ not just because she's against the Organization but also because she wanted to protect Sora. She promised to restore Sora's memories so she needed to stay beside him. As stated in Ansem's Other Report #10, DiZ thought it's dangerous to leave Sora in Castle Oblivion, and in order to protect Sora, Namine needed DiZ.'

'Was the Mansion in Twilight Town a property of the XIII Organization?'

'No, they have nothing to do with it. It's just a place DiZ used as his hideout. You saw a lot of pods like the one Sora was in but DiZ just transfered Sora and the others along with their pods from Castle Oblivion. In other words, DiZ just copied the pods that were created by the Organization and lined them up (in the Mansion). The reason there's a room in the Mansion that looks exactly like Castle Oblivion's was just prepared for Namine, not because that space is connected to Castle Oblivion.'

So in fact, it doesn't really tell us anything at all lol. Apart from that part of the interview and CoM itself, that's it.
