How to defeat the chernabog

The chernabog is that weird monster thing in the mountain in end of the world. You know that battle where you have to fly? Well, this battle took me a while to do. Here's what I do in the battle:

1. Go as far away from the Chernabog as possible and let Donald and Goofy do all the work.

2. When the Chernabog starts shooting fireballs and stuff at you, go up to the Chernabog and start hitting his head tons.

3. But when you sense that he is is going to do that well annoying volcano eruption attack-fly for your life!

4. You will eventually do this battle and be given the privilege of advancing into the mountain.

5. Note: This battle is like the way I did the dragon malificent battle(different in a way of course!). :cool: :D :) ;)

Sooo...The Chernabog, he was easy, first try I beat it. I don't have a strategy though, hell, I don't even remember the battle, just that it was very easy

He was very hard in Final Mix well that Volcanoe attack mostly, that is his deadly attack.

I died once in Final Mix.

I died Zero times in KH1.

the churnabog is really easy, i just didnt like his attack were the volcano erupted, and if you happend to be anywere nere him, he would take a huge chunk off your health. all the other attacks were easy to avoid, though :D

the easiest thing to do is just get behind him lik around the neck and use aero on it does multiple damage to him it wuz easy like dat

First it helps to be on a high level.
The first thing you do is to cast Auraga.
Then go behind Chanaborg's neck and slash at it.
Wjhen ever he puts his hands up get out of there, becuase he is about to do an fire attack that goes all around him and takes almost all your heal.
If you keep on doing this then you should win.
Make sure you bring all iiem slots filled with Elixirs just incase something something happens.

ooh I remember that boss... It's called churnabog? For some reason I picture a radish when I hear that name...
Anyways, he was easy to me (I was a high level anyways and on easy mode cuz I'm such a fried chicken) but I thought it was kinda random. I never saw fantasia so I thought they just threw this guy in to buy some time *shrug* well now I know :D
I think I beat him on lvl 70 the first time ... can't remember

actually u dont have to attack from the side u can just go staright on only lift up a little bit so ur lvl with his forehead, and the only attack u would need to worry about then is just his big fiery explosion.

yaa that true too but its safer to go to his side or behind him

yeah but he moves around alot, which kinda makes little difference either way since hes one move blows u back far away anyways.

well actually during that fight u dont take any dmg from anything really, except maybe the knockback, as far as im concerned donald is enough to rely on for aero, i only find it useful for the phantom fight to nulligy phantoms dark firaga magic.

well if u equip high powered fire defense accesories and oathkeeper u should have enough magic for areora and curaga

by the time i fight him though i already went thru the olyp, and got my lionheart, but beside that i never equip anything other than the best accesories, same with the fight against giant ursala i never quiped and thunder nullifiers, so i gave em all too aerial. Point is i dont need magic for chernabog. He goes down waaay too fast.

yeah ven though the attacks may do more dmg, hes actually easier than ursala.
