I'd have to say Leon, Yuffie and Aerith. I mean for a team of mixed-up people, they are pretty cool. They even balance each other out. Leon is the repressed one, Yuffie is the crazy klepto, and Aerith is the one that holds them all together. Even fighting they rock, as long as Yuffie doesn't try to be all heroic and stay back throwing her star to fight and Aerith can heal uber pain and Leon cuts every1 to shreds, so yeah. Go Leon, Yuffie and Aerith.

I must say, Goofy is ace. He's so cool, but's always seemed to be to be the back-guy of the three (Sora-Donald-Goofy). Think it's Sora and Donald's forceful personality. And he'd better in a fight than Donald.

However, I also like Riku. i know, some would say cliche, but he's just so damn cool, and it's pretty easy to understand why he does what he does.

Side note: Can anyyone tell me what David Gallagher has been in, besides Kingdom Hearts? He's the voice of Riku. i know what Haley Joel Osment (Sora), and Hayden Panetierre (Kairi) have been in, but not David. :( I'm just curious.

Riku never really cut out for powers of light, and darkness was pretty much given to him, I guess he was always a guy to walk the between path which felt right. As far as my fav character in the first KH id say squall, even though i wish he had more action scenes.
