You're right. She could've taken over that Castle by the end of KH2 if she wasn't overrun by Heartless.

Andthere's the fact that Davy Jones is just awesome. He controls a giant ship eating squid, his ship has 2 tricanons on its front, he has a crab claw, and Jack Sparrow even owes him his soul.

Just asking but what really do you see in Davy Jones that makes him so special, it would kinda ruin making another heartless ruler besides maleficent unless they fought and Jones won. I still think maleficent would win if it was just her vs Jones

Because sababentekaha, they wouldn't fighting totaly 1 on 1, at least jones wouldn't. Besides it would make an interesting journey just being able to get to him. 1st you'd have to find his heart and the Flying Dutchman itself, then you'd have to get past the ships canon fire, fight off the Kraken and his crew, then you'd have to fight Jones homself, a master swordsman, with a giant crab claw too. He'd probalby even have some heartless hepling him for good measure.

Thats a good point, maybe he would be harder than I thought but I still think Maleficent should rule over heartless since she has before, changing might make the game not as good. Davy Jones really might be an actual challenge if they put him in their

Hello, a challenge to the game player, sounds a lot like sephiroth. And even though Davy Jones is rockin' and all, if he was the heartless commander, then all the heartless would look like creepy use-to-be-human-creatures that have living sea creatures on them and coral for heads, lol.

Technically, the heartless aren't really ruled are they? I mean in KH2 they do say they just align themselves with whoever is strongest. Which is why Organization XIII's members can summon them.(even though it still confuses me why nobodies can summon heartless, they are complete opposites) If they really wanted to align themselves with someone stong, it would most likely be someone capable of defeating maleficent.

It makes more sense that a strong Nobody could control the Heartless because as a Nobody doesn't have a heart, the Heartless don't have a reason to attempt to attack and consume it. The reason Maleficent could control the Heartless was because her heart was of pure darkness, and so the Heartless had no reason to consume it.

Davy Jones quite litteraly doesn't have a heart any more, its locked away in a chest, besides its full of evil.

if Kingdom Hearts 3 is set in the past wouldnt it make sence for the ruler of the Heartless to be the original ruler? and since ansem artificially made heartless(aka insignia), in the altered form of the pure-bred heartless (no insignia), that means that there are many forms of the Heartless that havent even been seen yet, and that theyve been around for ages, maybe even longer than that. so shouldnt the new enemy be the original in which the keyblade war was fought against?

Davy Jones would make a better boss for a Pirates of the Caribbean 2 world. How about one of Ansem's apprentices for the job? JK, I think that Maleficent has to somehow be tied in, remember, she and pete are still in this

um there was a fight scene where nobodys and heartless were fighting u explain it very well i would say its a plot hole but we have to put everything into consideration

They better have a Pirates 2 world ;) But id rather have Maleficent. I'm kind of used to her. Or maybe they'll have Xehanorts heartless come back... but i realy doubt that.

Maleficent and Pete are still alive...they're not totally out of the picture yet. If you don't see a body they aren't dead. And sometimes they aren't dead even if you DO see a body XD

Though I could see Davy having a rather big part...considering he is, quite literally, Heartless. Though wouldn't he technically be a Nobody, by the game's standards, considering that they're are the body/mind left behind when the heart goes? Hmm.
