Playing other Characters

I think it'd be cool to be able to play as Leon or Cloud. I'm kind of tired of only playing Sora. It might be cool to switch and play as one of your party members. Wouldn't that add a new layer of strategy, being able to switch between the party members on the fly.

Even still, 1 playable character when you have a party of 3 that changes on a regular basis can get boring. I'd like to be able to switch to the other 2 on the fly, and I'd also like to be able to take those world specific characters to other worlds. I don't know about you but I think it would be real cool to have Jack Skelington and Auron in the same party.

Auron's a legend in his own right anyway lol. But he has "his own story" ;) I know what you mean though, I think the Hollow Bastion Characters and the Beast and Belle should at least be able to leave their worlds as they're the only ones who have moved worlds in the past other than Sora, Donald, Goofy, Chip n Dale.

well i think it would be a bit to much if they added new characters rather than the four u play as in kh2 but more time and abilitys with these characters would be good and an alternative to roxas

Yeah! I liked it when him and Cloud and everyone were in your team at Hollow Bastion, but it was too short wasn't it. They should have stayed for much longer! :D Tifa was just as great I think.

but all of u r missing something, if we cud change players or bring other characters to other worlds, then the first players skills will definitely become a lot weaker to balance out the ability 2 change players. for example, the normal party, sora, donald, and goofy. if u wanted 2 use magic, then u mite HAVE 2 switch 2 donald. if u wanted 2 do some real damage, then u mite HAVE 2 switch 2 goofy. or they mite even have certain characters, or maybe just one character alone b able 2 get u past one point... that wud b amazingly complicated considering how many characters there r and how many worlds there r. well thats wut i think

They managed it from Chain of Memories to Kingdom Hearts II. As they slept for a year, Sora, Donald and Goofy weakened to level 1. Then again, whenever Sora and the gang levelled up, everyone else on the other worlds levelled up too in Kingdom Hearts II.

It's kind of been a feature of Square games since Final Fantasy IV.

i agree with Kingdom key master, everyone would just chose the strongest allies, and it would be very likely that donald and goofy would not be used very often anymore. also, all the costumes that would have to be created are too much.

YRP would be great summons! I don't know about Winnie the Pooh though. ;) I'd like to see these in KH3: Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story world, Aslan from the Narnia world, and a Final Fantasy summon would be absolutely awesome. :D

I think it would definetly boost the feeling of the game, it would be super fun, and i want KH3 to actaully be a challenge, not just a bunch of pressing x. It gets boaring and way to easy. Also i think it would be cool for every lvl you gain , the heartless and nobodies get stronger, just as you get stronger.
