I wasn't entirely sure where to put this but I think (dont quote me on this) that Nomura has confirmed that before III comes out there will be a prequel (not an inbetween game like CoM)

Yeah, that’s right. I heard about it too. Most likely it will have its own title as Nomura said the next game won’t be numbered like KH3. It could either be a prequel or maybe a side story. Nomura even said himself that it’s “an episode in the past”.

I may be 11, but here is my assumption on some things. What I say is also based off the creator of kingdom hearts who I found posting reply's in very good chat room. 1:Kingdom Hearts III could have been out sooner, but the creator of Kingdom Hearts talked about a game they were working on and after it would begin working on Kingdom Hearts III. The game I now know is Finaly Fantasy 12. To make matters work there is already (this was announced on tv's X - play) that Final Fantasy 13 was going to begin development.

2: Kingdom Hearts III has also beeen said to not have the char's we've grown to love Sora, Riku, and Kiari. Why you might ask? I figure that Kingdom Hearts III is going to tell the story of how it all began. How the Keyblade was found or made or some other ways. Also I think this will take place in the war and to those of you who don't know of the war I'm talking about look at number 3.

3: Warning!!!!!!!!!!!! Major Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless you want to know about something from the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts II go away now or skip what I'm saying. Now then since that's outta the way here I go. *takes Deap Breath* Master of Keyblade the first word assumes that (only maybe) Keyblade is a form of fighting which brings me to my next word, Key Blade War being a war between Keybladers and it's being a war could mean between good and evil, different nations, or to tip the boat over the world or other worlds. Then the lost two, maybe Riku and Sora have something to play in this or Naminai or Roxas (Roxas being sora's spirit sorta thing who re awakens Sora in Kingdom Hearts II and Naminai being Kairi which makes some sence since Karia and Sora are very close to eachother. Then theres Chasers coming from my last word the Lost Two. Chasers could be the ones who look for the Lost Two to end the Keyblade War or destroy the opposing force meaning good or evil has chasers looking for the Lost Two to have them on there side to take over. Xehanort is another one. He was ansems apprentiece and when ansem was consumed by darkness because he tried to find it Xehanort took ansems name (and I heard this from wikipeidia) and battled Sora as a test of his strength at the end of the game and was alway's him. Xehanort changed his name to ansem and then became (or was) a nobody calling himself Xemnas unscrabbled meaning Ansem.

4: This is just something I want to throw in. These are the real names or the people in Organization 13.

5: The worlds. Now I have heard some things and it seems clear that worlds like The 100 acre woods and Hercule's world will be in Kingdom Hearts III, but with disney renewing a lot of of there old movies, maybe they'll use them. I can't remember all of them, but this is just a theory.

6: The crossroads in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and in the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts II could be symbolic. The cross roads could be the crossing point where you go on (srry if that makes no sense at all which I did just put in because some ppl might turn it in to something bigger) or the point where ppl meet up (ppl being important char's and or new ppl) Like the Knights.

7: Spoiler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay moving on the knights wore armor. If you notice the armor you'll see tht one is a girl, not getting into anything big, but her body shap and the way here chest plate moved and was shaped for her you know whats. The first one is a man. His big body tells it all and the key he has is similar to a weapon one of the Organization 13 members have meaning that member may have been a Keyblade Knight in The keyblade war. The other one is a boy because no chest plate modifications for what girls have, but small. The keyblades at the middle of the cross roads are the kingdom key, the gold kingdom key, and Riku's blade. This is akward, but true if you par attention. The monster dissapering *thinks* looks fimiliar to a nobody you battle, but I'll let you figure out that on your own.

That's all for now and I am 11 and never played Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and haven't finished Kingdom Hearts 2. I am also new as of today and I will post more reports in the future from reply's.

I heard about the past thing too. Some of the stuff above doesn't have to do with this exact topic, but I posted it because of some important things and some things you might've been interested about. I found a chat room where that man (forgot his nanme again) talked about that past thing. Up in the 1: part of my report I talked about the delay. The final Fantasy 12 game which he couldn't announce to us, but on X - play, G4 Tv, they said there was a final fantasy 13 trailer on the G4 Website. I'm sure that they said that because why would they say you could find the ff12 trailer after it's already out. Ohwell, anyway's if it is in the past it's like what I said in my report, gonna be in the keyblade war. Chasers looking for the lost two and something about the Master of Keyblade along with the words Memory of Xehanort. There was a japanese word which was decoded as birth by sleep. I'll work on decoding that word, but these were all words in the secret ending to KH2.

i do agree with you because they are running out of disney worlds and if they want to make the story line even longer than the last it would be real difficult but thay would also be taking awy the kingdom hearts spirit without having disney in it but i gues if they do im allwase ready for change.

You might want to look at my "new worlds" post for info on the Disney World possibilties. If they didn't have any Disney Worlds, it would only include Mickey Donald and Goofy, with everything else new or Square Enix based.

As for the past thing:

From what i have read in interviews with Tetsuya Nomura the only things he's said are:

1) He's got ideas for a 3rd installment in the KHseries but it is not yet confirmed if they'll do it (Most liekly though)
2)The persons we see in the secret ending are not Sora, Riku and Kairi
3)The third game will most likely not be named KH3

and to the main point which is wy i write this in this topic:

4) That it may be long before or long after what allready happened BUT that t wont be something in between like CoH. It will be a complete game for PS3. (Or maybe Nintendo but I doubt it)

SO, what the starter of this topic was talking about is most likely the actual KH3. Because that game ITSELF will most likely be the prequel.

You hear Sora's mother in Kingdom Hearts I, and Sora's father died just before he was born. I think that if this is the past, we're talking ancestors of Sora, Riku, or Kairi.

Honestly, I think that Square intend to create a prequel, considering the secret ending shown at the end of Kingdom Hearts II.

Ok the point I'm writing this is:

If the story takes part in the past:
I guess this prequel will be based on a few hundred years before Sora existed- considering the armor they're wearing.

Nothing much, since the secret ending is sorta short.

If the story takes part in the future:
I guess the sequel will be based on Xehanort reviving and causing chaos, again.

Also nothing much, hope that Final Mix+ would reveal the contents in King Mickey's letter- Sora seems shocked, Riku's grinning and Kairi seems worried, probably worried that they might separated again =p


And one question, how long did the three friends stayed in Destiny Islands before they received an urgent letter from King Mickey?

Probably the secret ending will be Kingdom Hearts III's beginning of the game- such as in Kingdom Hearts II. Probably somebody related to Sora, Riku and Kairi (maybe their ancestors) wield the keyblades as well and took the role in the beginning of the game- like Roxas did. No, what I meant is part of Kingdom Hearts I's ending became the part of Kingdom Hearts II's start (In the song Sanctuary). So i presume that Kingdom Hearts II's ending would be Kingdom Hearts III's start of the game. Well, that's what i presume though.

Ahhhh yes... Awfully convenient that Sora's father died shortly after sora was born isn't it? It leaves so many options available for Nomura to cast him into a future instalment of KH... how does he die? Sure, there's always that small chance of natural causes, disease... old age... But what if Sora's father was also one of the chosen wielders of the keyblade. Maybe he died protecting a future keyblade wielder (Sora). Maybe he died in a Keyblade war on a different world... who knows? I'm not completely sure if this is a a theory of mine, or just a dream I had last night... but in any case I think that maybe... just maybe there is a chance that we might see Sora's father popping up in the future.
