Yeah i took a look on KHinsider.
It also said that Riku's crush on Kairi is much more reserved than Sora's
meaning that Riku could contain it and be more of an older brother to Kairi

From my own personal view without reading anything as proof I would say yea he does. He just hides it.

The only clue we really have from the games is when Riku says about sharing the Paopu Fruit:

Riku: Sora.

Riku tosses Sora a paopu fruit.

Riku: You wanted one, didn't you?

Sora: A paopu fruit...

Riku: If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain a part of each other's lives no matter what. C'mon, I know you want to try it.

Sora: What are you talking-

Riku laughs and Sora throws away the paopu fruit...

Sora: If I win, I'm captain! And if you win...

Riku: I get to share the paopu with Kairi.

Sora: Huh?

Riku: Deal? The winner gets to share a paopu with Kairi.

Sora: Wha... Wait a minute...

I don't think either of them ever did share one with her lol. Other than that, both of them tried to help Kairi throughout both games. They obviously both care about her. Of course there's the bit at the end of KH1 too:

Sora's group closes the doors. Riku has one last thing to say to Sora.

Riku: Take care of her.

Sora nods as he and his group close the door.

In a way I think Riku has a crush on Kairi, but for some reason my feelings are bending in on the thought that maybe she's like a sister to him =]
Like someone real close but not in a crush way.


Remember in Kingdom Hearts II at the ending with the letter? There was no name telling who the letter was for but Riku already regocnized that its for Sora. Thats a sign that he'd rather have Sora and Kairi together right?

Kairi sent out that message in a bottle in the hope that either Sora or Riku would find it, so it was kind of for both of them lol, even if Riku did think it was for Sora.

i think that riku and them might have a little love rivalry or something, but i wouldnt want them to do that in KH3 and end up ruining the story or something. although it would be cool to see sora and riku fighting over her.:D
