would this be better as a game or a moive. or both.
This is about what happened to me when my life changed from good to bad and it kept getting worse. I still remember the day my life changed for the worse it was June 12, 4023. I was released from work early so my wife and I could go on vacation. When I got into the drive way she was standing in the doorway. The look on her face made me worry. As she gave me the letter in her hand I knew what it was about when I saw the symbol on the letter it read
Mr. Darkheart
We write you for one reason. We have selected you to join the army a week from Monday we ask you to be ready when we come to escort you to the base.
These words went through my head all week until that day came when the army truck came to pick my up. As I left I could hear my wife crying. Before I got on the truck I turned to her and told her I will come back. She had my word. As the truck left my hometown and entered the army base all I could think about was to end this quickly. For the next 2 years we trained like there was no tomorrow. When our commander said that we graduated I knew I could finally go home. Before we could get on the bus home the call came in and my heart stopped, “Attention all army personal. Attention we have just got word that China, Europe, and Japan have joined forces to fight agents USA and South America. We have entered world war III”. As I looked around I could see their faces some had excitement others had rage. From now until the story is over I suggest anyone with weak stomachs and hearts to stop reading this and read a nicer story than this. For all the people who are still reading this be ready for anything! As the truck got closer to the battleground I could hear two jets overhead and the explosions off to the distance. Some of the solders were hoping it would be a short war with minor casualties. When the trucks doors opened we were devastated. All around us death and killing screams of pain in the thick fog. Our commanders ordered us into a Trench so the barrage of bullets wouldn’t hit us. As we fell in the trench the bullets flew over our heads. Some didn’t make it. They just lay on the ground not moving. As the commanders stood up and started to tell us that this war is important to our country but before they could finish a bullet hit each of them. As I stared at the lifeless bodies of my commanders I felt my body move. I took the commanders guns and began to charge at the enemy. I looked back at the soldiers and saw that all of them had followed me to the enemy. As the bullets rushed past me all I could think about was the promise that I made and at that very moment I PLANNED TO KEEP IT. The enemies threw poison gas at us but the gas didn’t effect us. We were determined to win. When we entered the enemy’s strong hold we blasted every thing in sight. Every enemy ran for their life but I wouldn’t let them live. The fight lasted 4 hours but to me it lasted years. As we began to celebrate we got word that the enemy’s second wave has entered the battle. Before I could leave I saw something in one of the solders hands when I picked it up the photo of the solders wife and children my heart stopped. As I got back into the trench I knew I couldn’t do this any more I couldn’t kill any more people. As I gazed over the trench’s walls my heart jumped into my throat. There beside a wounded solder in the middle of the battlefield was a child. As the enemy forces got closer I commanded one of the solders to help the wounded solder and the child. As I ran to the two of them I saw a bomb next to the kid. The horrified thought that they were using kid as sacrifice for their victory ignited the rage inside. As I ran to the enemy’s solders with the bomb in hand. The bullets hitting me, as I got closer with the bomb I detonated it and at that vary moment I knew.
I would not be returning home
