i need help with sephiroth

i can beat like most of his life except 2 bars. He gets in this state where he has a purple glow and combo attacks forever. I can't counterattack! I also need help with the meteorites. How do you block or deflect them? i tried reflega.

When he does that meteor strike, you can't do anything except for running and jumping across the stage to try and dodge them.

As for that purple glow that he does, it's kind of like his berserk mode. It's not supposed to be that much different except for the fact that his attcks get quicker and he recovers from Sora's attacks quicker too.

Do you have all your forms maxed out?

you know when you hold down L1 and you get that menu of magic spells? just put elixers on their. maybe about 4-6 should do. other than that just remember his attacks and learn to dodge them.

i have all my forms maxed out and i have six elixirs in my quick command menu. i only use elixirs when he does the move where he wipes out all ur life and mp except one and then you have to press triangle to block his attack.

There is a certain pattern to sephiroths attacks and its pretty easy to figure out if he beats you over and over but I finnally beat him I jummped on my bed! but thats not the point whem the meater strikes quikly glide back and forth and when he turns bezerk hes one tough cookie so just try to glide away from him as much as you can but stay close to the ground because in one of his combos hes getting ready to do the attack he does at the begining of the fight so when he does that drop and press triangle then attack with all your might!

But he uses cheats oviously. There is no way he has everything all powered up at lev. 38.

probably, but dont get all hasty, iv beaten seph at lvl 39, i wasnt all powered up, i used ultima, i used items, and it was freakin impossable, but after about a million fails, and then 1 more, i did it, sos its possable (this was on easiest setting) iv done it on hard at like 50 something

That dude cheated at trinity.. , but still he is very good at beating Sephiroth :D.
