Its awesome. Atleast the concept is. I know what happens but stopped watching when I heard about Sasuke becoming a god, defeating Orochimaru, blocking Naruto from accessing Kyuubi's chakra, nearly killing him w/o CS, and most of all, killing an Akatsuki member by himself. Seriously, its like the show revolves around Sasuke, but Naruto is just a pseudonym(sp?).

I like watching Naruto but Naruto Shippuden is just boring. So much wasted time staring and flashbacks. I recall at the end of 1 episode, they had a long stare down and ended with Naruto saying "Sasuke". The shippuden fillers also made it worse for me because it's so stupid and the manga is way ahead of the anime.

I enjoyed the manga more than I ever did the anime.



I just grew out of it. I prefer Bleach, FMA, Trigun, FLCL, MAR, Cowboy Bebop. Stuff like that.

Reasons:

1. He is constantly saying Dattebayo. This isn't bad neccessarily because a lot of viewers watching the subbed episodes don't know enough japanese to have any inclination of what this may translate into. (I don't)
2. It defies the basic laws of physics. When a kunai is ejected from an arm that follows a circular path before the kunai is released from said hand, it flies straight. When it is hit by something else, THEN it spins
3. Filler. For those of us who know what this means, you have shared my pain. (I don't care anymore)
4. The Anime barely progresses. I remember when DB released an episode during a dead week of Naruto (there was no episode scheduled). This episode consisted of the first few episodes of Shippuuden after it had started. At the beginning they said that they edited the first few episodes into one that most closely followed the manga. It also said that if the producers of Naruto would follow the same format the anime would catch up to the manga in about 52 weeks. At the rate they were currently doing, it would take over 100 weeks.
5. FILLER

Bleach does break the laws of Physics, but how many other anime series sends the main character through 1 or more concrete pillars and then stand up to fight some more? I find that more entertaining than watch a kunai fly straight, like a dart.

When I was in 6th grade me and some friends were obsessed with an anime (I will not reveal which one) and decided to give each other nick names. Mine was Kyo, and it stuck around for quite some time. Even to this very day, and I have graduated from high school. I liked it that much.
However, it wasn't until I was a freshman that I started watching (and finished episode 26. I don't know if there are any movies/more episodes) Fruits Basket. I thought Kyo was the only sane character. (I would love to have cats swarm around me! [except I am allergic so I'd have to get some allergy pill])
I don't recall FB ever defying the laws of physics. The laws of reality maybe, but not physics











That's it. I'm done explaining why I don't like naruto.


P.S. If you had to sit through over 50 episodes of filler, hoping that the next episode would end the filler and move on with the storyline, then you would know how I feel. That's over 25 hours of pointless crap I had to sit through. Some of it was entertaining, but most I could have lived life without seeing.
