The beginning of KH3 will probably be just like KH2 when you play as somebody else(Roxas). Throughout the game, however, you'll probably play as Sora, with some different characters at different points in the game. Some might be Kairi, Riku, and(of cousre) those armored guys.

if this was a game where you could choose as who u play it just wont be kingdom hearts but if u play as other ppl when SE wants( like when you play as roxas ) you to then yeah, i think that SE will let you play as more then one person this time around, but i dont think that you will make ur own character, that would just ruin every thing, and of course the main char. will no doubt be sora deff:p

what you say about a differant character to start with is very possible, or during the game( roxas and riku in the 2)
but one thing that might happen is that instead of donald and goofy, ever thought that the 2 friends in the battles could be riku and kairi?
after all riku is a great fighter, and kairi, with some training she could too, she has the potential, right? or maybe roxas and namine could appear again.

I would definitely want to play as Sora. I agree the game wouldn't be the same without him. Playing as Riku and Roxas would be pretty cool too. Also wouldn't it be cool if you got to move through time as well as to other worlds? I mean you got to visit the past once in KH2. So I think it would be cool to do that in KH3 and who knows? We may be able to fight in the Keyblade War that way.

Ok..so this is what I think. Remember in KH1, where towards the end of the story, Sora kept on having those flashbacks of Kairi. Well, I think that Sora learns (from King Mickey, or someone really powerful) about the keyblade war (the whole spiel of the three chasers or whatever it will be) and begins to have flashbacks of that era. So....I think when he has those flashbacks, we (the players) will be able to play as one of those "chasers" and unfold what really happened in the history (or for some reason people are thinking the future).

Pretty much, I say that in some points of the game. Players just transition into the history part of the game (origin of keyblades) and after whatever objectives have been complete, players return to playing as Sora (which I hope we still will be able to do).

Ohh...I really agree with what some of you are saying. That at the beginning of the game we will play as someone else (a chaser?), and then play as Sora for the rest of the game. It would be nice to have Kairi, Riku, or King Mickey join the gang. But....I would still choose Donald and Goofy to be apart of my gang. I don't know why...just because Sora and those two played together through KH 1 & 2 (as well as CoM), and I feel like they should finish the epic together, since they were the main ones who started it.

Well, that is my two-say. Can't wait to hear more news on both KH3 and KH2:FM.:cool:

I think you will play as the armored people or the shadowy figure in the beginning (kinda like when you played as Roxas in KH2) that way some of our KH2 secret ending questions will be answered during that time of game play. Then I think later on you will return to playing as Sora. I agree with everyone in the fact that Kingdom Hearts would NOT be the same unless you were playing as Sora and all the cool characters were there. Lastly, I HOPE that Kairi and Riku will be with you or at least not lost during the entirety of the game, and that Mickey, Riku, and Kairi might be options for party members, hoping also that Donald and Goofy return.

can u give us a link cause nomaru has also stated that KH's is Sora's story so that makes him the main charecter,but if the game is in the past then u can't play as Sora but i believe u will play as Sora sometime in KH3.I mean what is the point of knowing what happened in the past if it doesnt help u in the time your at???

since this next game is gonna be a new series whether it is the keyblade war or memories of xehanort or the master of keyblades it seems like we wont be playing as sora. Im sure that there will be many allusions to what he has done and he will still be a key part but making another series and playing the same character as another is pointless. We know that terra will most likely be an enemy or even one of the chracters we play becasue in final mix you can fight him. its no easy task to make a character like that considering all the movements and attacks that are needed so the develepers have shown that they could make a character like him. If this video is at all like the preview for kh2 from kh1 we most likely will be able to play as terra which would be awesome. since we got to play as .

Actually, Nomura has said that the next game will focus more on Riku, Roxas and Mickeys story, and Sora will still play a major role even though he is not the main Character throughout the game;)

I just hope that in the next game you can play as your party members, like if they go to halloween town you can exchange the main ch and play as Jack or when you go to Agribare you plan as Alladen or may be when you somen some one you can play as him because I want to try and be Genie. I think that you will start as Terra and will play through the game as Terra,Auqa and Ven.And maybe at some point Sora,Riku and Kairi would make some CAMEO apearances since KH3 will not really be based on them.
