I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Thing is though, I think you only need a flip magic and then you can do it. The flip magic is supposed to switch it to a Japanese PS2. So that's what I heard. I really can't heads or tails really. I hoped I helped a litte. ;)

There is more too it then that, you have to make sure your PS2 doesn't know you even have the games in it.

Hey the only thing I know about a PS2 is that you can put a game in it, a memory card, and some of your time. And then you get a a game that you can play. I don't know anything about this technical crap lol. :p

in austraia we just take em 2 some computer place and they chip ur ps2 and u can play japanese games and burned games.
