Manu 32 12:34am: Last day of the harvest on Guant island off the coast of the mainland Gandinia, morning sun just above the horizon. Merej woke to the crow of the Munt bird and the sound of the ocean hitting the shore line. He rose from his bed wiping his eyes from exuashtion, looking out the windows he saw other villagers had just begun to awake and the sound of voices just begun to make thier way into Merej's ear. He stood up and put his work clothes on preparing for the work ahead, the smell of breakfast came from the kitchen. Merej walked into the kitchen seeing his mother cooking a delicous pork with eggs and coffee for his father. Merej sat down to be welcomed by his older sister Shang who was already diving into her breakfast. Merej's life was as good as he thought it could get, he had a family to have freinds to play with and all the excitement of knowing how to get to his sacred hideout. Guant island was a small island just twelve inches off the shore of the maineland, it had forest caves and of course a river that led straight through the island. Many tales were told about the islands around especiallly about Tey island. Supposedly many evil creatures lived on that island and no boats would take anyone to it. The island had a reputation to be covered in fog most the time due to the many hot springs and volcanoes. Merej ran off after he ate to go to Manu island, named after the month due to him finding it, to meet with Le his freind. Le was a fifteen year old girl same age as Merej, she had brown hair and brilliant hazel eyes. Meeting Le was of no mistake they met on ocords of near fate. Le had stole a chiken out of the market to feed her sick mother when she was running and had got herself stuck in a hole in a wall. To her luck Merej was just on top of that wall eating an orant friut just noticing her below him. Jumping down he sat there with a smile on his face knowing that she was stuck till he helped. "Help me!" was her order as he came back and grabbed her hands to pull her out. "Thanks for getting me out of that hole" "no problem! You scratched or injured?" "I think so i might not be able to walk" "then let me carry you home" "I dont have a home" "then i'll take you to my house".
Merej carried Le home and put her on the couch to call the doctor. Doctor Zer came about six minutes and examined Le telling Merej that he should comfort her and wade on her every wim till she recovered. Merej tended to her until she had fully heale, later on he learned that her parents were caught out on sea for some time due to engine problems. Le since then has stayed be Merej's side never leaving and Merej never left hers. Unbreakable bond was thought never to be broken, it was like love but Merej never thought it to be that strong. Merej got to the gates of the dock only to find the gates locked and no way to get to the islands. He overheard a sialor talking about how he couldnt fish due to the council meeting today. The council were a group of elders who ruled the land and used merek island as thier gather point and allowed no other ships to leave docks. Merej ran through the crowds out to the outscirts of town to find Le and figure out what they are going to do. As the biuldings began to show infreuquntily he knew he was getting close to her house and would soon see her smiling face. Le's house was a two bedroom, living room, kitchen, and aporch. She was left this since her parents never were home and she only saw them at the docks, the house was in pretty bad shape. Merej walked to the porch opening it slightly calling for Le and no answer came, he entered still calling but all he got was a moan coming from the up stairs. Merej headed upstairs to find that Le had just woken up and was getting dressed for the day. "Didn't see you at the docks" "oh didnt hear you sorry just woke up" "okay then what do you think we should do about this?" "wanna sneak to the island and see what they're up to?" "why not". Merej and Le went to the docks and jumped over the fence with crates, making thier way to thier ship and headed off toward the island. Once on the island they tied up thier ship away from the landing area and headed toward the bright lite in the middle of the island.
The island was overgrown except for the paths and the only biulding was the meeting biulding that lead you back outside to the circle of meeting. Merej and Le went around the biulding to the back of the circle and watched. The council was standing around a girl tied to a pole in a circle. A man was speaking," Council you know that in every soul and heart darkness can be found even in the brightest. I have found a way to release that evil from us forever. Obsreve now as i remove the darkness out of this maiden." The man pulled out a book from his robe and began chanting encantations on the maiden. While chanting he was throughing ashes and liqiuds on her from vials. When the last word he said was spoken the girl started to struggle as if she was in pain, then screamed letting out a black smoke from her mouth and relaxed. The smoke hovered for a moment then transformed into a creature. This creature looked like a suit that came to life it had only a sign on its face to show its exsitsance. "I have sucessfully removed the darkness from this maiden, yet i still have the problem of the creature. Don't worry it's harmless to my knowledge and...hey wait what are you doing!" The creature had grabbed one of the elders and was stabbing its hand into his chest bringing out the same dark smoke that was in he maiden. The smoke did the same and they were going after the rest of he council, Merej ran to the elder on the ground but before he got to him his body slowly dissapeared so did the girl." Le we should get out of here!" "k", Merej ran off with Le toward thier boat keeping an eye out for any survivors or the creatures.
