Ansem Toubles... *sigh*

I bought a PS2 a few months ago. So, I got one of the greatest games of all time for it! The problem is that I'm having trouble beating Ansem on the island... I can beat his heartless form easily, but once he changes back into his normal form...his Sonic attack is just...well...crazy... I wish I had Donald and Goofy for this one... -_-

The only advice I can give is to continuously execute Dodge Roll. lol. The second time round, he gets a lot quicker, right? So I avoided his shock waves and his charged attacks by rolling out the way and then jumping right behind him and unleashing a combo. You could try using Guard to block his attacks, but I think that's a little risky. When he uses that attack when his body glows, just keep Dodge Rolling until it's finished and then you can counter-attack.

Ansem's first form isn't too difficult. He'll throw a bunch of
cutters at you, which can be avoided by dodge rolling out of
the way. Cast Aerora or Aeroga at the beginning of this battle.

Ansem will call out his guardian for protection. After he does
this, you will need to attack him from behind.

When Ansem casts Submit, you have a short time to dodge roll in
the opposite direction of Ansem. If you become taken over from
his Shadow Guardian, you can't attack, or it will freeze you in
place. If Ansem and his barrier reach you in that small amount
of time, it will inflict a small amount of damage.

When he casts Submit, dodge roll out of the way so you are not
struck by his Shadow Guardian., Ansem is not that poowerful in
this form.

when ansem does his sonic attack just block and counter attack and unleash a combo. when Ansem comes near you dogde roll away until he does submit, then get in his face and unleash a combo. When Ansem gloes just dogde roll around him continuosly, he'll miss you every time.

Shes in the Library, took me ages to find her, thought id say lol, she also gives you all of ansems secret reports

Do you mean Atlantica? You get Thundara after defeating Ursula and completing that world.

Dodge Roll ISN'T working! I'm doomed to stay on this part of the game forever... *sigh* I can't figure out how to use my guard, because it's the same button as dodge roll...at least that's what it says in the description... I'm lost... Is level 54 even high enough to beat Ansem?

I never used the darn guard move before. So, it's not wonder I didn't know how... I figured it out on my own thank you... No need to be a complete jerk.

EDIT:
Just FYI... I finally beat it today. I just bucked up and went for it. You know, after all that, it was actually really easy. I don't see why I thought it was so hard before. It was easy enough that I'm confident in saying that I could do it again easily. Thanks for all your help guys. ^_^

basically ur gonna need to put all of ur best abilites, items, armor, and magic for this fight and the rest of the fights in the game cause u cant go back to the screen after this fight

if he says SUBMIT then use dodge roll, if hes usin normal attacks use jumps or gaurd
