i agree coz when i fist whent against him he kicked my ass even though i was lvl 100 but after about the 15th time of fighting him i actually beat him coz before my streangth was about 70 and when i fought him again it was 100 so yea he was one of the hardest ppl in that game

I beat Sephiroth when I was level 78 with Ultima on Proud Mode, it's quite easy when you know what you have to do when he attacks. Example: When he casts balls around you, use reflect so they would go away.. When he throws meteors at you, you should dodge them with Glide.. And when he casts a spell that drains your HP completely, go hit him before he does that..

wait, are we talking Sephiroth from KH1 or 2? I think the KH1 Sephiroth was hard to fight....seeing as he couldn't be touched for the first minute or so....the KH2 Sephiroth was easy, my last hit was a reflected meteor :)

Sephiroth really wasn't that hard, in either game.

The Sephiroth in the first KH, however, was much more difficult than the second.

KH2's Sephiroth was a pitiful battle. It provided little challenge due to the ease of reaction commands, and most people waited until they were buffed up with the Ultima Weapon, and still couldn't beat him? If you can't beat Sephiroth in KH2 folks, you should probably stop playing the game. :|

Neither were difficult, just herendously long and drawn out.

You would run out of items or magic, and get caught with your pants down and die.

ALL bosses are like that. In every game, at any time. :|

Sure, he was fast...but you can block.

Sure, his attacks were painful...but you have items.

Sure, he's got the Descent of the Heartless Angel attack...but you're fast enough to attack and stop him, if you use Dodge Roll, or have any sense of intelligence what so ever.

I defeated both Sephiroths in ten minutes' time (I was proving to a friend I could do it) and got them both on my first try.

So, no, he's not difficult, just long and drawn out/you don't know how to correctly utilize your abilities at hand.

For me, trying to fight him in KH2 was indeed much easier than in KH1 because the reaction commands and other abilities in KH2 made him much more bearable, in my opinion.

Well, maybe it's just my way of playing the game, but... The abilities (like more powerful finishing attack, reaction commands, the way MP refills) just made it easier for me in KH2 than in KH1. In KH1, there weren't any powerups for the final move (at least that I remember), there weren't any reaction commands (which made the fight more bearable in KH2), and MP doesn't refill based on time, which meant that if you ever run low on MP, you were essentially screwed (unlike KH2, where you just wait for a little while, and your MP's back up to full).

Agreed. In KH1 elixers are essential because you WILL run out of MP. KH2 is just easier.

Yes, but in KH2, your MP just comes back on its own. In KH1, you can heal yourself more than once, but once it's out, the only way you can make it come back is through hitting Sephiroth or using an item. I personally find that more of an inconvenience than being able to only use it once, then having to wait for a little bit (especially if you have Ultima Weapon, where MP Hastega makes the wait time something like a second...).

And you can't put ethers or elixers in your quick menu. You have to scroll through your items while avoiding damage. Very difficult if he hits you with "sin heartless angel" then teleports directly behind you for the kill.

Exactly. You can get him fairly easy when he starts casting it, but if you can't get there you better just start looking to your elixers.

The thing is, though, that you don't always know you won't make it until he's actually done casting. For example, once I got to him just as he finished saying "Sin harvest angel" and nailed him for a combo. I thought I had avoided the hit, but as it turns out, I hadn't, and I was shortly KO'ed.

its a risk u have to take i guess, but its better then wasting elixers and hi-potions

im not sayin that sephiroth in kh2 is hard, in fact i beat him on level 35 on proud mode without takin damage, but i think hes easier in kh1

Well actually for the skill of sin harvest in KH1 versus Kh2 i see no real difference in that aspect, as far as difficulty between KH1 and KH2, well of course if i really want to id say yes KH2 he is easier, however if i were to limit myself than yeah of course hes harder in KH2.

Like I said, it's not hard, just harder. You're right, it doesn't make much difference if you're good, but there is a slight difference, nonetheless.

I gotta imagine that people are just under leveled and give up before they can beat him. Here's a good strategy: load up on elixers and repeatedly use Strke Raid and Sonic Blade. Eventually your bound to win one.

I wouldnt recomend either ability for him, like some abilities in KH2 its a double edge sword, although strike raid is a good move in order to hit him whens hes doing his fire pillar.

it depends on what KH we'r talking about. the first was a quite difficult for me since you get three hits on him and he teleports behind you giving you little to no time to react. his sin harvest was no problem. fire pillar was a bit of a nuisence since you couldnt get close to him but thats easily remedied by strike raid. it started getting hard when he started doing his combo atks. in two though, completely different story. he was easy. and that kinda upset me cuz it took away from his difficulty in the first. i was hoping he would have the same difficulty. these are just my opinions.

(funny, before I knew much, I didn't know of the "invisible bar" of health. I just thought that I sucked and that i was doing very little, damage_lol) I finally beat him at lv. 99 with MILLIONS of Elixers and the Kingdom Key.(I play the entire game without changing the keyblade.Like the cutscenes more that way.)
