So let this be a thread where we talk about certain Dream Eaters, like I'm still in the midst of playing DDD but um personally I didn't spoil what kind of dream eaters I'll be fighting before the release of DDD. So basically I had some surprises as I entered each world and saw all these different Dream Eaters. The first spirit you are forced to make Meow wow, what an interesting name and I like it's description they give it. Unfortunately I released my Meow wow during while I was in traverse town since it was just a rank E spirit and i found myself with rank B spirits. Sure meow wow has curaga but hopefully I'll be able to make a higher ranking meow wow. Still trying to figure out how the ranking system works. It seems like if you use the recipe or make it from scratch it tells you what rank it will be, and if that's the case it's kind of disappointing and yet interesting because at first I thought if I kept making the same spirit there might be a slight chance it'll be a higher level ranking. Anyways.... So i stuck to just having rank B spirits, and finally got some rank A, you know before I got the game I thought you could only have two at a time but found out you can have 3. I also enjoy the fact how as sora and riku level up if you want to create a spirit that also increases. Munny is sort of scarce in DDD a bit more difficult than other KH games to horde munny so those dream pieces that the moogle shop sells for 400 munny god dam him! I end up selling all my commands i get from my spirits. Anyways I nickname most of my spirits. So far I own a Tama sheep, Komory bat, Pricklemane, Hebby Repp, Kooma Panda, Escarglow, Wheelflower, Zolephant, and a woeflower. You yourself if you have this game can figure out what others I'm missing. Anyways the spirit board sued for leveling up the spirit with link points reminds me so much of FFX but there is a limit to each their own. So far I only completed Tama Sheep's board so idk what else am I suppose to do with it's link points cuz the game told me I completed it's board, does it ever extend as I level it up or is that it? And to top it all off this was accomplished like when it turned level 16-17 ish which is sort of disappointing again considering we can train these spirits to level 100 but I understand why Square Enix would do this, so spirits will remain unique, pressing you to strategize which spirits to use at each situation. I train All my spirits fairly even. Then we have the spirit mini games, feeding them is awesome I like how they're all sweets I bet eventually someone is going to try to make the spirits food in real life. Painting them is pretty cool I mean I really don't care enough what color my spirit is but I do use my paints whenever I get some on my spirits, I also like how when you do get paint you get 10 of each that's very thoughtful. Treasure googles is fun to do find some interesting stuff. Water barrel annoys me because I need to watch the opening sequence of the gargoyle opening up the barrel every time but at least its faster than the balloon mini game. I prefer water barrel because i get link points for my spirits as to balloon you only get the heart points and exp . And finally the all mighty spirit arena, the game Flick Rush. When I first encountered it I was all hyped up it reminded me so much of the monster arena in dragon quest 8 mixed with KH:COM and they have some awesome prizes this is where you really put your spirits to the test especially when you fight other people. Oh right almost forgot each spirit has their own special link power when the link gauge is full. Personally I prefer mixing both of my spirits link gauge up and use them together but I know meow wow's and other's individual link move. So tell me what you think about all of this, what spirits do you own? What are your favorites? Dislikes? Pet names. Anything spirit related.
WHEN DO I GET TO HAVE A THIRD DREAM EATER IN MY PARTY Seriously. I'm in the end-game (Just got to the World That Never Was) and it is seriously killing me that to have only two. Yeah, I'm getting by, but I have the same amount of stat bonuses off of them that I had when I was halfway through the game. I've made a few more, of course, but starting a DE from scratch while trying to progress through the story is very, very difficult (and speaking of difficulty, it seems to be really amped up from past games. I'm playing on Beginner because I wanted to avoid this kind of crap in the late-game, and here I am). It's a very interesting system for stat bonuses and I like it a lot but it's a little flawed and this is sounding review-y so I'll just say I need more DE and I need more Fantasy level Spirit Items. //EDIT: Never mind. Got it. Feel retarded.
